In years past when the media has "advertised" their latest and greatest scare tactics to help the medical profession and give a flu a name, I have been very blessed not to become sick.
It is the years that there doesn't seem to be any coverage that knocks me for a loop. Our family has been sick for over a month. Cal became sick before Thanksgiving and has not been totally healthy since.
I started feeling poorly last Friday. It all went downhill from there. I was very ill Saturday, Sunday, and even stayed home from work on Monday. Tuesday through Thursday were interesting and had mentioned several times that I didn't really feel much better even though I was at work.
Today I have felt better than I have in over a week. I still have a cough that is very irritating and annoying but frankly I am pleased just to feel better.
