In just a few days, Cal has to return to school. Considering that he was very ill before Christmas and had seven schools days-off added to his vacation, he will have a lot of work to make up. I took him in on Thursday and Friday and tried to get him caught up on a few tests but he was so sick that I didn't want to have him taking too many important tests feeling the way he did.
I know that it will make it difficult to start back up again because the work load will be very heavy the first few weeks. Then they have this silly thing called Fine Arts where they are required to participate in this district wide competition in the fine arts.
I think that he choose to take a math test and write a report on a book of the bible. I was looking at this report designer here to see if it might be helpful to him. Either way the stress of this will be added to his already full workload. I am not a huge fan of the fine arts competition, some of the schools really push it and things get a little stressful.
