It is only my second year of Black Friday shopping and I have had a horrible experience. You know in the movie "Miracle on 34th Street" when the lady says something along the lines of "I am going to shop here for everything except bananas and toilet paper." When I say that phrase it will be more like " I will only shop in Walmart for toilet paper."
I am sorry but I think that a store that creates a ridiculous situation for its customers just to "feel" like they are busy is not worthy of my business.
My mom and I headed out on Thursday, this really bothered me but for a savings of almost $100 on two items I felt like I just could not pass that up.
We went for video games. They put up tables in the produce department and literally threw all games on a few tables and let people fight over them. This was totally uncalled for. I walked out of the store within five minutes and I will only shop there when it is necessary. The way that Walmart handled their doorbusters was not only dangerous it was just plain stupid.
I am not upset that I didn't get my "sales" or "doorbusters", frankly I went online and saw prices that were only a few dollars more than their sales. I am very disappointed that they had to create an atmosphere that could only turn out badly.
