I have not talked about business recently, there is a reason, there is none! Being self-employed is so stressful. One month you think things are getting better and then WHAM, you have a horrible month that sets you back three months.

I have to start devoting more time to the business. I have not been putting in my fair share of hours after I get home from work and it is really showing.

I need to look into email marketing. I tried several months ago to send out an email to all my customers and someone reported me to those spam cop people and Homestead threatened to discontinue our service.

I have found some information on marketing on twitter, but I am not as familiar with Twitter as I am with Facebook. The hubby did set us up with a Facebook page for the company but I need to look into facebook marketing.

With MailChimp I can send up to 3,000 emails a month. With my current system, if I send more than 25 a day I can be labeled as a spammer. They have several different Pricing Plans but the one that caught my eye was the one that allows me to have 500 subscribes and to send 3,000 emails a month for FREE!

I can hardly wait to tap into the facebook user base and get this email marking program off the ground.
