93 degrees

Global Warming has finally hit New England. It was 101 when we decided to go to the park and play soccer. Yes we definitely need our heads examined, and to prove that, this is a picture of the thermostat IN OUR HOUSE.
Yes you read that right. We don't believe in air conditioning. We don't use it in the car and we don't use it in the house.

We didn't stay very long at the park and I wanted to sign up for a pool pass but the spirit was willing and the bank account weak.

We have just spent the rest of the day too darn hot to do much of anything. The upstairs is much cooler than downstairs so we decided to play on the computer.

reason #1 why i cannot visit you in the summer!

during the day, we push the a/c up to 79. At night, we lower it to 77 or 76 if necessary. We cannot hit 80 or our chinchillas start dying.

do you at least have ceiling fans?

NO on the ceiling fans. We have a big fan set up in the door way but honestly I think we made it worse. I think we pulled in all the hot air from outside.

After I started to get a "little" grumpy he said we could turn the air on but honestly why bother, it is 6:00 pm and it will probably cool down faster with evening temps.

He will be home by himself tomorrow and I will be at an air conditioned office. I have a feeling I might work late tomorrow.

Nothing personal, but don't think I'll be visiting anytime soon. Not unless you provide me a bucket to stand in to catch all the sweat.
