As most of you know we lost our home at the end of last year. While it has been a difficult time emotionally it has really worked out for the best. We had owned the home for close to twelve years. I have many very wonderful memories there. The problem was the past two or three years our business has been struggling and the house consumed our budget and left nothing for other expenses. Both the hubby and I came to resent the house and our inability to make repairs and renovations added to our resentment.
The bank was very patient with us and I understand their stance, I do wonder however, why we were never given the assistance or opportunity for something like a Corolla short sales. I hear in the news all the time about mortgage companies making people fantastic offers. Ours not only didn't make the offer, they locked us out of the house during our moving out process.
