Really? I hadn't noticed.

Harry Reid writes in a memoir that President Obama told him he "has a gift" when it comes to public speaking.

It's the same thing right?

Fox will not broadcast the Obama press-conference..... Instead they are going to air their regularly scheduled episode "Lie to Me,"............

So many bills so little money

The beginning of this month started out with a bang and I started to feel like we might actually get a few bills caught up this month.

Nope, it seems that I am being $100 to death. Everyone wants a $100 for this and a $100 for that. I don't have many big bills just a lot of small one. I never realized how much some of this stuff was costing me.

I had no clue that I was paying over a $100 a month for car insurance. Not just comprehensive auto insurance but insurance that includes collision. Now the last time that I had a claim on my car insurance was several years ago when Jason hit a deer with our Mercury Capri. For heaven sakes that was 10 years ago. Why am I paying $1200 a year for insurance for five years. That is a total of $6,000 for the life of the loan. That seems silly to pay 33% of a cars value for insurance. I understand that one single fender bender can wipe out an insurance companies profit, but I have not had a fender bender in over 20 years and to the best of my knowledge my husband never has.

This story hits close to home.

I have mentioned before that CAL is bullied at school, this has been an ongoing situation since third grade. Some years are better than others, this year has been horrible. I called the school, when CAL was thrown to the ground in gym class and received a huge goose egg on his head. Then the real bullying started. CAL was then teased for "ratting" and for almost a week either the Hubby or I emailed the Vice Principal or called her. She gave us the impression that she was doing us a huge favor by taking care of the situation. When we pointed out that the situation was not better but actually worse, she made us feel like she had spent "enough" time on the situation and just wait.

Then both the VP and CAL's wrestling coach tried to pin the problem back on him and made him feel like he did something wrong. After several months of being called "gay" CAL retaliated toward one kid and called him "Koren". Yes he called him "Koren". They tried to say because CAL said that he was not the victim but an aggressor. I went through the roof. You mean to tell me when my son has been called gay for months and he finally cannot take it anymore and tries to find a way to save so face, you say it is all his fault. He called the kid "Koren", when did the word Koren became a derogatory statement. By the way he called the kid "Koren" once.

Schools have to get a handle on this problem. During our situation I emailed his teachers several times. Basically after the principal became involved they would not even return my emails. Now they treat me like I am an ugly step-child. They acknowledge me but seem to go out of their way to avoid me.

The kids that tease CAL the most are very outgoing popular kids. The other kids all want to be their friends even if it means being constantly teased. I know this for a fact because one of the kids was in my home almost everyday over the summer. I heard him talk about the other kids behind their backs, I heard him run everyone done, and I saw what a liar and cheat he is. He would brag that he could lie his way out of almost any situation with his mother. He later proved that to me when I called his mother about the teasing.

CAL is very stressed about this summer. He is worried about not having any friends like he did last year. All the kids that used to come to the house have turned their backs on him, because he told. The funny thing is the nurse at the school is the one who told us. CAL did not. CAL didn't want to give us any information about the situation because he knew what would happen.

We have tried to explain to CAL that no friends are better than friends who are mean and nasty. We may know this as adults but a 12-year-old cannot.

Honestly I think I need help

Yesterday was the first day of my cutting back. It didn't go so well. If the next few days don't improve, I will consider an appetite suppressant. I think, because I drew the line in the sand my body decided it would crave food all the more. Ice Cream is my vice. I love Friendly's Vanilla, which is strange because I have always loved "flavors".

Lately I have enjoyed vanilla with toppings. If I go to Friendly's I must have either a Jim Dandy made with Chocolate Almond Chip, Strawberry, and Vanilla, or a 3-scoop made with CAC. I seem to have lost my taste for The Chocolate Almond Chip as it used to be my favorite Friendly's flavor. I think they changed their chocolate formula and it taste gritty.

I will see if today goes better. Summer is usually easier because I am outside more and not thinking about all the food in the kitchen.

A Blowtorch?

This story was enough to make my head spin this morning. It appears that two grown men thought it would be funny to burn the butt of a 6-year-old boy with a blowtorch. The boys father Gerald Hall 36 was one of the men. His brother Glen Hall 43 - the other "man" involved - is a habitual offender.

I would like to take a blowtorch to these "men" and let me tell you they would go from a rooster to a hen in a matter of minutes.

My weekend to do list.

Now that spring has finally sprung, I really need to get to work on my projects both inside and out..

  • We still have a couple more weekends of chipping to do.
  • I have major work to do on three of our flower islands. I am seriously considering digging them up and starting over.
  • I have a kitchen drawer that needs to be fixed. I have bought the wrong parts twice now. Hopefully three times will be the charm.
  • The bathroom shower drips down into the garage, and the faucet in CAL's bathroom should have been replaced with a Moen faucet years ago.
  • The garage needs to be cleaned out and reorganized.
  • I would love to have a yard sale in the next couple of weeks so that means getting into the attic to see what we can get rid of.
It should be a busy weekend at the Lukie household. Then again it is suppose to go from 50 degrees to 85 degrees overnight. I don't know how my body will deal with that kind of change. Chances are I will be complaining about the heat before noon on Saturday.

We are funny creatures.

Last night at church the pastor made a very good point. We sit around and criticize ourselves, we hate our hair, weight, looks, clothes, and anything else we think about. BUT... let someone else say those same exact things about us and we go ballistic.

That made me think of my son. I am constantly saying how fat I am. My butt is huge and I like to point these things out to people, just in case they don't have eyes of their own. The other day I said "I need cream for my legs" the son responded with "you need to loose weight". I became very upset and he got in big trouble...... and he should have. I am not defending him just saying that he hears these things from me.

This morning CAL put on a pair of pants that we bought just a few months ago. When we bought them they were huge. I pointed out to CAL that they were not so huge now. I said that he has to watch his weight more. Life is so hard when you have a weight problem at 12. His vacation is coming up and I told him that he was going to ride his bike everyday. He looked at me and said "can I say something without getting in trouble...... Mom you really need to loose some weight, I am not trying to be mean but it is starting to scare me how heavy you are getting". What do you say to that.

I have never tried weight loss products, I have always just cut back on eating and tried to exercise more. The time has come, I am starting to worry my son. I have always said that I would loose weight when I could no longer play basketball, baseball, and kickball with my son. That time is here.

12 Brands that might not make it to 2010

I think I blogged about this before but could not find it, so it is worth repeating. There are 12 major brands that the experts said probably won't make it to 2010. They are:

1. Avis/Budget (CAR) operates two car rental businesses. - I don't really rent cars so I don't have an opinion one way or another on this one.

2. Borders (BGP) has struggled for several years as the No.2 operator of book store behind Barnes & Noble. - I am watching every penny so I don't really shop at either B&N or Borders. It makes me sad to think that in years to come I might not have the choice of a Borders. They still carry some of the comic books that my boys are sometimes interested in.

3. Crocs (CROX) sold the fastest growing footwear in America at one point. - This makes me very sad. I love my Crocs. They are very expensive, and therefore I have not purchased a new pair in several years. The thing with Crocs is they changed their sizes and both the Hubby and I have tried to purchase these for each other at Christmas. Both of us returned them. They just didn't fit right.

4. Saturn was created by former GM (GM) - I have never purchased a Saturn. We did look at them when we lived in Syracuse. Nothing special about the car. These car companies have to get creative and build something other than cookie cutter cars.

5. Esquire Magazine is published by Hearst which is having substantial problems in both its newspaper and magazine divisions. - Who even reads magazines anymore?

6. Gap (GAP) Old Navy and Banana Republic. - The world will not be the same without Old Navy. I buy most of CAL's clothes there and I also purchase my jeans from there. They are the goddess version that cover my ENTIRE butt. You don't find those jeans often anymore.

7. Architectural Digest Magazine has lost 47% of its ad pages this year. - Again who reads these things anyway.

8. The Chrysler brand of Chrysler - I HATE CHRYSLER I hope they go under. I will never purchase another Chrysler car in my life. This is the worst company that I have to deal with at the moment. The other day they called on the 5th (my payment is due on the 4th). They called 17 times during the next two days.

9. Eddie Bauer (EBHI) - I cannot afford anything this store sells. Even if I could afford it the quality does not justify the price.

10. Palm (PALM) has been at death’s door for some time. - I am not a high tech person.

11. AIG (AIG) may be the only large company in America that both the management and federal government want torn apart. - I cannot recall ever hearing about AIG before this year. I see them more often now that I am paying attention.

12. The travel industry - enough said.

Now that I am a....

respectable church going "lady", I need to purchase some new clothes. I don't think a steady diet of jeans is the best impression. I looked a little funny on Easter Sunday with my jeans and sweatshirt when everyone else was dressed in their Sunday best.

The Hubby cracks me up when it comes to clothes. He is constantly saying that he needs more pants or shirts. The other day I went through his closet. I made him try on everything. In the end he had eight or nine pairs of pants that no longer fit and 14 to 18 that did. Now some of these pants are very seasonal. The bottom line is that during any given "season" he has at least seven pairs of pants that he can choose from. This number does not include any jeans. He is a little light on jeans. I think he has three or four pair and most of those have some type of hole in them. Usually it is around the back pockets or belt loops.

I have three pairs of jeans. I have no slacks (that fit) and I don't have any dress shirts. I cannot even tell you how many dress shirts he has. If I had to throw out a number I would say 25.

Bottom line is that he has many more clothes than I do and I need to go shopping. Buying clothes ranks right up there with getting a root canal. I hate to clothes shop. Nothing ever fits right. The only clothes that I like are ones that don't fit. I hate fat peoples clothes. I don't understand why they cannot make the same style in just a larger size. Why is everything in the plus section nasty?

Now shoes...... I enjoy shopping for shoes. I enjoy the casual sturdy kind. I don't wear heels or anything that is even remotely uncomfortable. I love the UGG Australia boots and I am going to try to get a pair for this coming winter. My favorite shoes of all time are from Lands End. I bought these shoes when CAL was in second grade and I wear them every day in the winter. The summer is made for sneakers.

1 Timothy 1:15

15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.

15This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Ready to pull my hair out.

Our company web site is not working. I am getting tons of visitors but they are not converting into sales. I have done everything that I need to do to get the visitors which is what I thought was the hard part, only to find out that conversion rate optimization is the key. I wish these "experts" would make up their mind.

When I first created the site I was told that if I get the visitors, the rest will fall into place. WRONG. Right now I think my problem is the fact that my visitors are not real buyers. They are information shoppers.

I just don't have any extra funds to invest in this web site. Now I am looking to dump the shopping cart and go with a cheap web site program that I can just list my inventory but not offer online shopping.

I had a site with CuteSiteBuilder but they are no longer in business. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on a program that I can use to build a web site, keeping in mind that I don't know any html codes.?

Darwin Award

If you have never heard about the Darwin Award, it is an award that you really don't want to win. The award goes to a person that kills themselves in a stupid senseless moronic manner.

Serena Sutton-Smith 54 is sure to be the winner of this award. It seems that during a case of road rage - (she ran someone off the road and them became outraged when the person had the audacity to "flash" their lights at her. ) she rams the other persons car and keeps her foot firmly placed on the accelerator, causing the wheels to spin so fast that her tires disintegrate. Then the metal rims sent sparks to the engine igniting the car on fire.

Onlookers begged and pleaded Sutton-Smith to take her foot off the gas and get out of the car. She told them to F*** Off and continued to spin her tires until the flames overtook her and she died.

This "lady" obviously had some anger issues, and mental problems. I am just glad that she didn't hurt anyone during her tantrum.

Yard Sale

The other day our neighbors had a yard sale. I wanted to put out a table and try to capitalize off their work but The Hubby had a fit.

I have only had a yard sale once since we moved here and I don't remember it being the success that this sale appeared to be. I do remember that if I had something marked for $1.00, I would have several people ask for $.10. I sold a sofa, it was old but nice with no rips or wear. I don't remember the price but it was a steal. The lady complained that it was "dirty" and she would have to clean it so would we take less.

What has been your experience with yard sales? Have they been worth the work? The house next door had a huge pile of stuff that didn't sell in their yard for a few days after. They had cabinets, an undermount sink, desks, other items that they just hauled to the dump. I have had several people say that whatever doesn't sell either junk it or give it away. Nothing comes back into the house.

More Proof!

Yes there is now additional proof that global warming is/was a farce. Ice is EXPANDING in much of Antarctica. I am sure that Al Gore has reviewed the information and has canceled all future speaking engagements.

It is time for people to wake up to the scare tactics that our government (both Democrats and Republicans) implement to best suit their agendas.

Al Gore needed a job after he lost the election and global warming is where he saw big money. I hope that anyone who believed his lies is outraged. Personally I think Al Gore needs to be treated as a terrorist. Dictionary.com says that a terrorist is a person who terrorizes or frightens others. What Al Gore and his Democratic friends have done during the past several years qualifies as frightening others.

Skin Condition

In the winter months CAL will develop a skin rash. These year it was worse than most. I took him to the doctor and he gave us a cream but other than that, there is not much to be done.

We changed our laundry detergent and went with a free and clear. I have not noticed a difference. Several months ago I noticed that it has spread to his face. He eye became very irritated and red. I thought it might be pink eye and took him to the doctor. She didn't have an explanation but we later decided that was the rash spreading. I hesitated using the cream so close to his eye so I called and made sure that it would be safe to use it as an eye cream.

As long as CAL uses the cream on a nightly basis it keeps the rash under control and not as noticeable. That usually doesn't happen until it become sore enough that he cannot stand it anymore. He is 12-years-old and must learn to start taking care of some of his own needs.

Be Careful what you ask for.

I think that African-Americans around the US are starting to wake up and see that maybe they should have researched their "candidate" a little more before casting their vote. I love that certain Hollyweird stars (which I won't name because I refuse to give them one more second in the spotlight) have said "if you didn't vote for Obama it was "pure racism - straight up". How does the reverse work. If you cast your vote for one reason and one reason only - he was black.

It makes me laugh when these "supporters" start coming out of the closet. "Opps" they say. "We didn't know it was going to be 'this' bad".
"You can't blame it on the Bush administration anymore," said John Boyd, head of the National Black Farmers Association, which has organized the lawsuits. "I can't figure out for the life of me why the president wouldn't want to implement a bill that he fought for as a U.S. senator."
Why? I will tell you why? Because the man is a lair - STRAIGHT UP!

Could you run a marathon?

Me? I don't think so. I used to be very athletic when I was younger and I probably could have completed a marathon in my high school days, but most certainly not now. In order to compete I would have to lose about 75 pounds just to remain health during training.

My husbands daughter, Rachel, ran a marathon to support cancer survivors. I must confess that when she first told us about it, I don't think many of us thought she would actually follow through. I am happy to say that Rachel trained hard and worked through her pain and suffering like a professional athlete, and finished the race with a very respectable time.

Rachel, I don't think I told you this before but you are my hero and a hero to many mesothelioma survivors. I look forward to reading your blog and keeping up-to-date with your next marathon. When is it by the way?

I love Dolly

I am sure you didn't know that about me did you?

Manslaughter?

Can someone tell me how driving your car directly toward a group of people and hitting one of them is manslaughter?

Police: Lawrence Teen Run Down By Mom's Boyfriend
LAWRENCE (WBZ) ―

A 16-year-old girl died early Sunday after being run over by a car driven by her mother's angry boyfriend, police said.

The driver was arrested and charged with manslaughter.

Edilize Cruet was found lying on Dorchester Street when police answered a disturbance call at 2:25 a.m., police said.

She was taken by ambulance to Lawrence General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The driver, Gilberto Vega, 26, was arrested while sitting in a vehicle parked nearby.

He was charged with manslaughter, negligent motor vehicle homicide, operating under the influence of liquor and leaving the scene of an accident.

Witnesses told police that Vega deliberately drove his car toward his girlfriend, Betsaida Lorriano, her 18-year-old son and Cruet.

The mother and the boy got away, but the vehicle struck Cruet.

Police said Vega and Lorriano had argued about his car being towed earlier in the evening.

Investigators say family members had told Vega several times to leave.

That's when Cruet, her mother and the son went outside, police said.

Vega began to drive away, but turned around and drove directly at the mother and her children, police said.

My personal opinion is this: if you drink and you get behind the wheel of a car, should someone die because of that, it is MURDER. Period end of question. There should be no second chances. You intend to kill if you drive drunk.

Don't judge a book by it's cover!

Let's face it we have all heard this a million times and frankly we NEVER live by that rule. The past few days I have heard about Susan Boyle. She is the perfect example why we should not judge. I am so happy for Ms. Boyle. I think it is wonderful that society has now given her a chance. But.... but what about the people who were not given such a wonderful talent?

Commercials that get your attention:

I don't know about you but I love the commercials that have me laughing out loud. I will also admit that they usually do not sell me on the fact that I MUST have their product. The commercials that convince me that life will be so much easier, cheaper, and more enjoyable with their product usually don't make me laugh, but I have been known to log onto a web site after viewing their commercial on TV.

The problem is that the commercial must be believable. Now I have viewed the latest Buy.com commercial with Howie Mandel and I just don't find the commercial believable. Howie walks into his son's "first day on the job" job and he is buying a XBox online. First of all what parent visits their child at their work on the first day and secondly, what type of work are you doing that you would be buying a XBox during work hours, ON YOUR FIRST DAY. It may have been on sale but you should not be making that kind of purchase at work. I think the commercial sets a bad example for our young adults. I am not impressed, sorry. I did not log onto Buy.com to see if I could in fact buy products cheaper than Walmart or Best Buy.

When is a bow, not a bow?

I am really not sure, but The White House wants us to believe that a bow is not a bow when the person is just a few inches shorter than the bower.

"It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," said an Obama aide

When the person is almost a foot shorter (The Queen of England) it is a nod.

My opinion. His Muslim instincts took over and he didn't even know what he was doing because it was just second nature. Obama probably creamed his jeans, I only hope those undies don't make the donation bin like Clinton.

Not only did Obama bow. He bowed low enough that his right leg came back several inches.

You won't see this on CNN.......

President Barack Obama has just nominated federal Judge David Hamilton, who has issued controversial rulings (banning public prayers offered "in Jesus name," and hastening the abortion of unborn children), to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals (the same court that has reversed his aggressive decisions for many years).

Judge Hamilton is the worst of Obama's 15 new liberal appeals court appointees. The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals covers Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois. Since most cases never reach the Supreme Court, the federal appellate circuits often provide the last word on cases affecting life and liberty.

READ THE FACTS:

The Judicial Confirmation Network quickly opposed Hamilton's nomination, stating that "President Obama's first nominee to the federal appeals courts -- specifically the appeals court based in Chicago -- is an ultra-liberal named David Hamilton who is a former fundraiser for ACORN and former leader of the Indiana chapter of the ACLU. He was nominated to the district court bench by President Clinton even though he had no judicial experience and was rated as 'not qualified' by the American Bar Association ."

Hamilton ruled in 2005 to ban the practice of opening the chamber's business with prayers mentioning Jesus Christ or using terms such as "Savior." He said that amounted to state endorsement of a religion. (But he ruled prayers to "Allah" were perfectly lawful.)

ANTI-JESUS, BUT PRO-ALLAH?

Judge Hamilton wrote: "The injunction orders the Speaker...that the prayers should not use Christ's name or title or any other denominational appeal...If those offering prayers in the Indiana House of Representatives choose to use the Arabic 'Allah'...the court sees little risk that the choice of language would advance a particular religion or disparage others. "

In other words, Judge Hamilton ruled the words "Jesus" or "Christ" are illegal words, prohibited for public speech, banned by the First Amendment, which somehow prohibits freedom of religious expression, and makes Christian prayers ILLEGAL in a public forum. (What crazy version of the First Amendment is he reading?)

ANTI-LIFE BUT PRO-ABORTION?

In 2003, Judge Hamilton struck down part of an Indiana law on abortion. The reasonable law had required abortion clinics to simply give women information about alternatives to abortion in the presence of a physician or nurse, 18 hours before the procedure, until Hamilton ruled to hasten abortions .

He's into a new phase.

I like this phase. CAL has decided that he wants to dress nice. He has been begging for a suit but we just cannot swing it at this moment.

This is not the best picture because it was VERY COLD (see my previous post) and it was uncomfortable to be outside without a coat. He is standing somewhat strange and it makes his belly area look huge. Again I think it was just because it was so cold. He was very impressed with how much these pants enhance his lower body area ;-)

We want to send CAL to the school that is associated with our new church. Yesterday he went for a shadow day. He loved it and came home saying he wanted to start immediately and not wait until next year. It was funny he made a pro and con list while at school. Some parents should be ashamed because one of his pro's was the fact that there were no children like Jon Doe and Jack Smith (names changed obviously). These are the kids that think they are so cool and give CAL a lot of crap during the day. I even spoke to the mother of the one. What a waste.

I knew this was coming.....

but honestly didn't know that it would be this soon. I opened my browser this morning to read the following headline: "Curious Why the Sun Has Been So Dim Lately". I clicked the link and I got that funny feeling in my belly, just like it was Christmas. Could this be the article that most of us sane people have been waiting for.... Indeed it was.

The article is the exact flip-flop of global warming. It proceeds to outline the next "world catastrophe" that all earth lovers can cream their jeans about. This one just might have more merit than the "global warming" issue and I fully expect Al Gore to jump on this ban wagon as soon as possible.

"The Sun is just slightly dimmer and has been for about the last 18 months," said Dr. Soon. "And that is because there are very few sunspots."

Sunspots are giant islands of magnetism on the Sun and the appearance of sunspots runs in 11 year cycles. When sunspots are abundant during the cycle, it is called the "solar maximum" and when there are few sunspots, it is considered to be the "solar minimum."
I know that Pamibe is slightly under the weather but I can hardly wait until she reads this story. The "Scientists" (I love that term .... they have about as much clout as a used car salesman) are now on a mission to convince us the earth is cooling. As a matter of fact they state:
"Right now we are in the deepest solar minimum of the entire Space Age," stated Dr. Soon. "In fact, this is the quietest (fewest sunspots) Sun we have had in almost a century."
This type of behavior is called job security. They constantly have to instill fear into people. Heck don't we label those people terrorists, or is that term just reserved for people in other countries. Scientists have an inability to make any statements without the fear factor. Scientists --- Terrorists does anyone see the connection?

Ok, so just in case you are keeping track - global warming is a farce and we are in fact headed into a "Little Ice Age". I can hardly wait for the celebrities and nut jobs to jump on this ban wagon. Obama doesn't want us to use cool - because of global warming -- but how in the world are we going to keep warm during the ice age.

The sky is falling, the sky is falling.

Are you saying Politicians LIE!

This report on Fox must be false. It must be a game by the Republicans to make the Democrats, that quote statistics, look foolish and uneducated.

I don't know how to make that pretty little box around everything like WB and Pam can do so I will just tell you that the following is has been cut and pasted.

You've heard this shocking "fact" before -- on TV and radio, in newspapers, on the Internet and from the highest politicians in the land: 90 percent of the weapons used to commit crimes in Mexico come from the United States.

-- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said it to reporters on a flight to Mexico City.

-- CBS newsman Bob Schieffer referred to it while interviewing President Obama.

-- California Sen. Dianne Feinstein said at a Senate hearing: "It is unacceptable to have 90 percent of the guns that are picked up in Mexico and used to shoot judges, police officers and mayors ... come from the United States."

-- William Hoover, assistant director for field operations at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, testified in the House of Representatives that "there is more than enough evidence to indicate that over 90 percent of the firearms that have either been recovered in, or interdicted in transport to Mexico, originated from various sources within the United States."

There's just one problem with the 90 percent "statistic" and it's a big one:

It's just not true.

In fact, it's not even close. The fact is, only 17 percent of guns found at Mexican crime scenes have been traced to the U.S.

I am shocked and appalled to think that such upstanding people as Hillary Clinton, and Dianne Feinstein might not know what the heck they are talking about.... Even more disturbing -- and probably the real truth -- is that they might knowingly and willingly be telling a lie.

and the Mother of Year award goes to...........

We have all become somewhat numb to crimes committed against children, by men. It is when women are committing the crimes that we tend to be more outraged and they make the news much more often.

This next story from PA caught my attention this morning. A mother drugged her 13-year-old daughter so that the mother's boyfriend could have sex with her in an attempt to get her pregnant. It seems that the 32-year-old mother, Shana Brown is no longer able to have children. It seems to me that that is probably a good thing.

Police have arrested the 40-year-old boyfriend Duane Calloway and charged him with attempted rape. It appears that the couple had tried on at least three different occasions to impregnate the girl but she was able to prevent the rape, and she told her grandmother who reported the incidents to police.
