So Disappointed.

Nothing upsets me more than to find out that an organization that I have given my hard earned money to, has misused the funds, and therefore, lost my trust.

The latest is a biggie. Susan G. Komen for the Cure. You know those little pink ribbons that most women will look for when buying almost anything.

What have they done, you ask?
"Susan G. Komen affiliates donated $711,485 to Planned Parenthood affiliates across the country during April '05 to March 2006," she points out. "And the very fact that Susan G. Komen would give money to Planned Parenthood does not make any sense since Planned Parenthood is not only the largest abortion chain in America, but the connection between breast cancer and abortion is very clear."
I will no longer be supporting this organization!

I have pink recycled grocery bags, they are officially in the trash can.

I will no longer support "charities", I will give direct support to people that I see in need.

This type of nonsense is why we have so much government control. They have created mistrust so that we don't willingly take care of our own people.

WHY would this charity give money to PP? UNfreakingBELIEVABLE!

Sorry...

I just googled the term and apparently this has been going on for some time. They've lost my charity funds, that's for sure!

Okay, supposedly the monies go to breast cancer screening, education and treatment.

Still don't like it. Planned Parenthood is for one thing only: killing babies. How are they giving mammograms to random women??

Right! The article said that money was given to PP for "certain treatments" but it doesn't matter that just frees up money for more baby killings. Did you know that PP goes into some junior high schools and teaches boys and girls to put on a condom. The boy holds his thumb up in the air and the girl put a condom on it. Just what I would want my 12 year old learning. How does that not encourage sexual behavior?

...and is why so many homeschool now. I'd go totally ballistic if I had a school age child and he came home to tell me that they'd practiced putting on condoms or even that they'd showed the 'documentary' about global warming that day.

Nope. Nope. Nope.

The grandkids are already brainwashed. They come home from school chanting 'Barack Obama' like it's some kind of mantra...

ugh.
