to work out a way that I can go home and visit my family and friends for a week in August. This trip has just met roadblock after roadblock. First of all we only have one vehicle and with the business, the husband cannot be without a vehicle. Second the cost of gas seems to be going higher by the second. Third I don't have the money for either the car rental or the gas.
Those are some pretty big roadblocks.
I would love to rent a rv and then I would really be traveling in style. I wouldn't have to worry about inconveniencing my husband, or my family which will have to put me up for a week.
I have not been home in about five years. It has been months since I have seen my mom and years since I have spent any time with my brother and sister (and their families). Needless to say I really NEED to figure out a way to make this work.

we've made travel a very high priority for the next 18 months or so. we're tired of everyone we know taking trips, and we never do. so we have big plans (and small budget)
