PBS needs to GO!

I have not liked PBS for years. It was little things that they broadcast when CAL was small that would ruffle my feathers. Most of the time they kept their liberal nonsense for the later hours. I also liked that fact that they would give opposing viewpoints. Now that will all stop. Now they will only be pushing the liberal ideas and "theories". There will be no more balance.

PBS will being to phase out religious programming from the airwaves. According to the article board members have turned a blind eye to religious programming for 25 years, and have just now started to enforce the rule.

I hope they realize that anything to do with evolution, big bang, and the other nonsense is considered a religion.

I stopped supporting and allowing CAL to watch PBS many years ago. The final straw for me was when I found out that Denny Doherty, was the star of Theodore Tugboat, a show on PBS. Just in case you don't recognize the name, Denny was part of the musical group The Mamas & The Papas. That may not seem like a big deal until you watch the documentary that they did about The Mamas & The Papas. Denny seems to be the star of the show and they interview him several times. During his interviews he laughs and jokes about the fact that the members were HUGE and heavy drug users. It is quite the joke to him. He is very proud of the fact. That is not a person that should be associated with children.

PBS has not been a family station for years and I hope this will mean the end for their liberal dribble.

Please tell me who exactly considers evolution, the big bang, and other nonsense (aka science) religion?

Well how can I tell you when you post anonymous. It takes more FAITH to believe in that nonsense than to believe in religion.

Why does someone posting anonymously prevent you from replying via comment?

If you think accepting scientific theories requires faith, then you don't understand the first thing about science.

Oh, by the way, anonymous,

And since evolution is not provable scientifically, you believe in a myth.

And believing in a myth is a religion.

Anonymous, I hope that you return. I have been thinking for several days exactly how to answer your comments.

There are MANY people who think that "science" is a form of religion. If you google "is Evolution a religion" you will come up with over 57 million relevant articles. Now I did not scan all 57 million obviously, but on the first page you can see many people give the same answer that I do.

In regards to your comments about about me knowing nothing about science you are right! I choose to know nothing about science because it refuses to acknowledge God. The Bible clearly has the all answers that scientists are being paid millions/billions of dollars each year to research. What a waste of money. You want to know the meaning of life, how the world began, when it will end, how it will end, open your bible. It gives all the answers.

Ben Stein a very intelligent man made made a movie a couple years back. I never saw the movie only viewed the trailer. Scientists around the world are forbidden to look at all the evidence. Take a look I don't know how to link in the comments so I will just paste it here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEPqLKErXpI

Dictionary.com gives the definition of religion as "the body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices" They also give several other definitions. How does that not apply to evolution, big bang and all the other nonsense.

I am not a pastor and certainly cannot answer all your questions/arguments. I do now that there is more "scientific" research that points to creation than evidence that points to the big bang or evolution. The problem as Ben Stein points out is that scientists are forbidden to explore that avenue.

I am not against all science, obviously it is a field that is necessary and extremely helpful in our lives. I am against the nonsense science that refuses to look at all parts of the equation.

Right now the big scientific snow job is global warming. There are MANY scientists that have now admitted that global warming is just a natural part of the Earths cycle. Others don't care what the facts show they will continue to spread their lies because otherwise they will lose face, money, and their jobs.

In the end Science is all about the money.

Hey "Anonymous"

If evolution is "science", tell me, where is the scientific PROOF????

No one - - - not Darwin or anyone else - - - has proven evolution.

Quite the contrary, true scientific research continues to prove creation and the truth of The Bible.
