You know you have hit rock bottom when:
This morning The Hubby and I stood in the kitchen and laughed until tears rolled down our cheeks, why? Well - CAL needed a quarter for school so that he could get a snack out of the vending machines. I searched the house high and low for a quarter. It took me almost 15 minutes to find ONE. I searched in every drawer, chair/couch, and finally found one lone quarter in the junk drawer in the kitchen. Now if CAL could have used a Chuck E. Cheese token we would have been fine.
I handed CAL the quarter with a huge smile on my face and told him "take care of it son, it is the last one we have". Then being the joke'ster that he is, he started tossing the quarter up and down. Guess what? He dropped it and then we spent the next 10 minutes looking for it. It had rolled under the register and behind the carpet. I had to tear the register apart to get our last quarter.
A few moments later The Hubby came in from the garage and produced two more quarters and a dime. We all looked at the money with shock on our faces. I asked with disbelief "where did you get that?". He answered: "In the Jeep". Now there is not a dime in the Jeep should we have to park at a meter.
You know what? I feel good. Isn't that strange? Everything is going to be OK. It might not be OK here in this house, or even in Nashua, but everything is going to be OK.
