I went over to my neighbor and apologized. Then she proceeded to tell me everything that was wrong with me and CAL and informed me that she appreciated the apology but didn't want anything to do with me.
If you gave a sincere apology and she responded like that, then the problem henceforth lies with her. An apology doesn't always heal wounds and make everybody friends again, but she could have at least acted like an adult about it. Her response was childish and uncalled for.
I blamed the entire situation on ME! I don't feel that way but honestly I am tired of the tension. The more I think about it the funnier it is. I am apologizing she is taking every cheap shot possible and then saying I am negative. She keeps bringing up a comment that I made 10 years ago that was "suppose" to be a joke and she takes it to heart. I have apologized for the comment and explained it was a joke but she just cannot get past it.
