You might remember a few weeks ago I was not blogging all that often because I was dealing with some "demons". Well the old adage that time heals the heart is most definitely true. Nothing has really changed but a few weeks later I look back and wonder why in the world I was so upset about the situation.
There was a situation in college and I did something horrible. Basically after a night of heavy drinking I got into an argument with roommate and the situation turned violent. The next morning I didn't remember 90% of the situation. I did trash the living room portion of our dorm room. I removed my self from the room - before they could throw me out.
Recently on facebook I reconnected with one of the roommates. This is a person very dear to my heart and after graduation we spent a lot of time with each other. This situation was NEVER talked about. I am not sure why we started talking about it again but she asked if I remember it. I think she was asking because I have a very good memory for the past, sometimes it is too good because things seem to haunt me years later. I told her exactly what I remembered. Now the part that I don't remember is not because it has been 20 years. I didn't remember it the next day. Well she filled in some blanks and those blanks became my demons for several weeks.
It took me quite some time to stop obsessing about what happened many years ago.
