I don't deal well with stress
My first phone call of the day was a customer looking for a decent amount of parts. They must have called me four or five times with "questions". Come on folks, it is not rocket science. All parts have a part number either you need the part number or you need a different part number. It is pretty cut and dry. Finally that said they would be faxing an order, but they would need it out UPS-RED. This put a fair amount of stress on us because our UPS picks up fairly early so I informed them I would need it by 3 pm in order to call UPS back.
I waited and waited and no order. I called. They informed me that they made a mistake and they were actually looking for a totally different part, that I didn't have. Oh well, easy come (easy my foot) easy go. I didn't get the order and spent my entire day in a ball of stress worrying about it. I wish I would have had some AbsoluteCalm. This product is the only natural and safe product in the world that can neutralize occasional stress. It works almost immediately. Frankly I could still use it and it close to 10 p.m.
AbsoluteCalm can work in as quickly as 15 minutes. The Magnolia Extract doesn't produce any side effects, and if for any reason your are not satisfied return the empty bottle for a money back guarantee. You have nothing to lose and your sanity to gain.
Freedom versus Security
Now that the texting has come into the picture he wants a little more personal freedom and privacy. I explained that I didn't have a problem with that BUT if he became too secretive OR if I heard from a mother of one of the girls that he was being inappropriate that would be the end of his freedom.
It drives me crazy to hear his phone ring every other minute with a text message and not know what is going on. I have a lot of letting go to do this summer.
I just read an article where a young girl from Vermont is missing. Her last known "activity" was on Myspace or Facebook. This personal freedom and privacy scare the tar out of me. CAL has shown no interest in the online chats and I hope to keep it that way. I don't understand the allure of talking to someone you don't know. That sounds creepy to me.
I guess that is one of the reasons why we are trying to make our house the "meeting" spot for the neighborhood kids. I want him to have so many friends right here in our town and his school that he wouldn't even consider looking for friends elsewhere. I think that is very important. My husband and I have fought about this subject for years. Until this year my hubby didn't think that friends/play dates were important. CAL was his best buddy and he was CAL's. It bothered me at times because I wanted CAL to have his own friends and frankly it was important to me that CAL belonged to some of the groups/clicks that I saw forming at the school. I would be upset when ten to fifteen kids would get together for a birthday party and CAL would not be one of them. Hubby didn't care. He didn't see it. He sees it NOW!
He sees kids doing things together and he sees CAL on the outside and it bothers him. Unfortunately some of these groups/clicks are so cast in stone it has been very difficult to "break in". It is an ongoing process and CAL needs to learn to associate and communicate.
There are times when you look back as a parent and wish that you had made certain things more important and other things less important. As a parent, you will live your life full of regrets (hopefully, nothing serious) and wish you had done things differently. I have a friend that I love very much and don't always convey that message. The one thing about this friend that bothers me more than anything is when she will state "I have no regrets. I don't EVER regret my actions". I don't even know what to say to her but every time she says it I wonder if that would change if she became a parent, and I hope that it will.

A Heinz 57 kinda day.
We recently signed CAL up with texting. I had been holding out but he is so shy and even after months of the kids coming to the house he still doesn't really "talk" to much of anyone. We thought maybe the text would help. So far so good. I bought the cheapest text plan available and thankfully it came with unlimited texting for Verizon Wireless customers. Yesterday he sent over 41 message to two different girls. The end result was they arrived here around 3 p.m. and stayed until after 7 p.m.
I cleaned the play room. I am trying to get rid of a lot of CAL's old toys and books (less to pack when we are homeless) Several months ago I moved the TV out of his room and into the toy room. In order to do that I had to rip apart the toy room. I had no desire to reorganize the room at that time, so yesterday I paid the price for my laziness. It wasn't as bad as it looked and didn't really take a lot of time. I would love to get a tv mount in that room.
We watched a little bit of a couple movies. They were horrible and we didn't even finish either movie. I think we have lost our desire to watch TV.
On Friday CAL sold his old bike and he was told that if he could sell old items he would be allowed to purchase the new Wii Aerosmith game. Well the bike put him very close to his goal. He still had to pay on his BMX bike. He sold some of his Wii games and his game boy. So today we head to the mall to pick up the Aerosmith game and guitar.
Today it is raining so it will be more of the same. A quick trip to the mall and then rest and relaxation for the rest of the day.

Massachusetts should not be allowed.....
Now there is this idiot. He is speaking against (yes against) a bill that would require a minimum sentence for child rape. He talks about what HE would do to that child on the witness stand. Not only does he make the comments, that you will hear for yourself, but later states he stands behind those statements.
His name is James Fagon and of course he is a Democrat from MA. I am not sure but I don't think I have EVER been this angry toward an elected official before. This man is a part of some organizations that should seriously consider severing all ties with this moral less scum bag.
The organizations are as follows: Taunton Boys & Girls Club (Board of Directors); Taunton Little League; Taunton Youth Basketball Coach; Babe Ruth League; High School Umpire; Bristol Ducks Unlimited; Southeastern New England Area Boys' Clubs of America.
I have never done this before but this weekend I will be sending a letter to each and everyone of these organizations asking them to seriously reconsider their affiliation with this character. This man has no business being in contact with any children.

OK let me see if I understand this!
His sister Patricia Conradt sues NBC, and She WON? Are you stinking serious.
This show is helping to get child predators off the street, and some judge rules against them. This judge is out of his mind and needs to be removed immediately.
Louis William Conradt Jr. was the person to blame for the sexual conduct and for killing himself.
To me this should open the door for anyone who is arrested. The police officer should be held responsible when you kill yourself because they violated your rights to commit a crime?
Tell me now that society is not pushing the envelope on the "to each his own" mentality. Louis Conradt is made out to be the victim.
U.S. District Judge Denny Chin said the police officers had a responsibility to Mr. Conradt to protect him (FROM HIMSELF). He stated that the officers and NBC acted with indifference. Exactly what type of treatment should a child predator get. Judge you are a fruitcake and you need to go on a bad judge list.
Supreme Court I hope you saw this.
Donna Fitzgerald was raped and killed by Enoch Hall who was serving LIFE IN PRISON for sexual battery and kidnapping charges.
This officer should have been protected, how in the world did this animal get his hands on her and why didn't anyone come to her rescue.
This is why life in prison is not an acceptable form of punishment for sex crimes and other violent crimes, they have nothing to loose. He had his fun and he is in the same place that he was yesterday and will be tomorrow. With three meals a day and not a single responsibility in the world.

Police Officer without a drivers license?
Stuart Merry was convicted in March of killing a woman after his car crashed into her PARKED car. Merry argued that he had a seizure. Unfortunately for him the facts didn't support that claim. His head made a crack in the windshield proving that he was in a sitting position upon impact. Oh and then there was the fact that he had no history (past or present) of seizures.
The gist of the article is that he wants the case dismissed on a technicality. Some totally off the wall reason about the prosecution not asking questions about something. Doesn't even make any sense but the law is not about common sense it is about who is the bigger manipulator.
The part of the case that still has me very confused is he did not have a valid drivers license. This was reported in the original article but not in this one. How in the world can a police officer be on duty in a police car without a license. The Beverly Police department has to be responsible for this one.
(WBZ) BEVERLY A police officer is facing charges of negligent vehicular homicide in connection with a crash that killed a woman. State police cited Patrolman Stuart Merry on the misdemeanor charge, as well as with speeding, failing to stay within marked lanes and driving without a license.
Officer to serve two months in prison
Fine was found guilty of operating negligently and without the proper license. WHAT? A police officer breaking the law? That reminds me of another case where a police officer caused a crash that killed someone and then they found out he didn't even have a license.
The article didn't give any details of the case but something tells me this officer driving like a nut. Fine was ordered to undergo mental health counseling. That sounds strange. The judge suspended the rest of the two-year sentence for six years. That is called taking care of your buddies.
I think we need to start making better choices when hiring police officers and removing them from duty when the chip on the shoulder becomes too big for them to carry.
GUILTY
I am shocked that the jury didn't think he was searching for a job 90 minutes after he "found" the bodies of his wife and child. (said with extreme sarcasm)
Question for the Supreme Court.
"The rule of evolving standards of decency ... means that resort to the [death] penalty must be reserved for the worst of crimes and limited in its instances of application," the opinion read.
We have come to a point in time when the criminal has more rights than the victim, and these types of judges are to BLAME. All these cases are about the rights of the accused. The scum of society.
When do the rights of the law abiding citizen come into play. This man raped this child to the point of internal damage. Did you see his picture. He is a HUGE man. How is that not classified as the worst of crimes. So often when someone passes people will say "well at least he didn't suffer" I understand the meaning behind that statement. In this case the child did suffer. The extent of the victims suffering should also be looked at in these cases. If it were looked at in this case Patrick Kennedy would be dead already.
Some say that prison is a better option than death. Really? Three meals a day and not a single responsibility in the world.
Looking to change your web hosting?
There are so many options that sometimes this type of "shopping" can make my head spin. I am not very knowledgeable so the information needs to be in layman's terms. I am computer illiterate.
I recently ran across the perfect site for me (and I am sure most of my readers). The site is called Web Hosting Geeks and they offer information that they have complied on the top hosting companies. The site lists the Top 10 Web Hosting - Best Web Hosts (2008), along with Web Hosting Awards for every possible category you could think of, some of them being: Best Blog Hosting, Best Ecommerce Hosting, Best Multi-Domain Hosting, and many more.
I love the idea that all the information that I could possibly need or want is in one convenient location.
The Supreme Court once again
This particular case involves Patrick Kennedy who was on death row for raping his 8 year-old stepdaughter.
I personally believe that sex crimes against children should be life in prison without parole and in extreme cases DEATH. Especially when a "parent" is involved. If you will hurt your own child you are a danger to society.
If we don't take care of our children, we are raising a society of future offenders and where does it all stop. It has been proven that a child that has been "violated" is more likely to commit the same crime against someone else. We have to stop this cycle and one way to do that is through punishment. It will take us several years but we have to start now.
This defense team is out of control.
The jury has requested a printout of the activity log from Entwistle's laptop from January 20, that is the day Rachel and the baby were shot.
Neil logged onto the computer at 12:30 p.m. (about 90 minutes after he found the bodies). His lawyer said the activity had to do with a job search. A JOB SEARCH. You just found your wife and child murdered and you are logging on line to look for a job.
That defense attorney is a total dirt ball. To accuse Rachel of this crime is criminal. Here is a little history on
Elliot M. Weinstein
Weinstein is a Boston-based Criminal Defense Attorney, appointed to defend Entwistle when his family said they could not afford an attorney.
Education: Trinity College, B.A., 1970; Boston College Law School, J.D., 1974
Background: Born in Brookline in 1948; Member of Massachusetts and Florida Bars; Member of Massachusetts Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (President, 1994; Board of Directors, 1992; Member of National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers
Major Cases: 1998, defended man charged with kidnapping, raping and murdering a 5-year-old girl
Other: Weinstein often wears cowboy boots during trials.
Life? Are you serious
Robert Williams, an ex-con - surprise, surprise, was found guilty in the rape and torture of a Columbia University Grad Student. The attack was so prolonged (19 hours) that the victim begged Williams to kill her and even tried to kill herself.
Williams was not in the court room when the verdict was read. The judge said when he was told a verdict had been reached his simply rolled over and went to SLEEP.
This ex-con had already served eight years for attempted murder and now could get life. Life are you serious? This man does not deserve to draw another breath. It makes no sense to me that a Democratic state like NY would allow abortion but not have the death penalty. It is OK to kill innocent children but not scum like Williams.

Is Barack Obama a Christian?
This man has not said or done one single thing to lead me to believe that he is. Several years ago Barack actually made a speech that was anti-religion and anti-Christian. This man speaks with a forked tongue and the Left Behind Books seems to be playing in the back of mind an awful lot.
Now some of you may not like religion, you may even hate it. That is fine. You don't have to answer to me. I am not a pastor and God has not given me the job of converting all of you.
Even if you are not a Christian I encourage you to listen to James Dobson's response to this speech. Mr. Dobson only became involved because, in the speech, Obama compares Dobson to Al Sharpton. This is something that Mr. Dobson is not very fond of, and tells us exactly why.
WB and Sherlock I know how you feel about religion but this is not really about religion it is about Barack Obama and his true beliefs and motives.
Every so often someone comes along and Christians start talking about the anti-Christ. I am not sure I believe Obama is the anti-Christ but let me tell you he looks more like it than anyone else that has been accused. Each and every day he sound more like Nicholas Carpathia. He has all but claimed victory. Why? To us this election is far from over, Obama doesn't even have that strong of a "lead". In Obama's mind he has it all sewn up. Does he know something that we don't?
The best part of the entire speech is when Barack criticizes the "screaming" preachers. It is funny to Mr. Dobson considering that he sat in Mr. Wright's church for 10 years "listening" to the very thing he is criticizing.
Barack knows next to nothing about the bible and that is very clear. Why should he? I know next to nothing about the Muslim religion, why should Obama know about my religion. If you think for one second that this man is a Christian, you are the "fruitcake".
What a day!
This is starting to be a great summer for CAL.
He had his end of the year BBQ with twenty five of his friends.
(this is a horrible picture of CAL but it was the only one with their Dunkin Dugout shirts on)On Friday I found out that the tickets were a done deal she was just trying to organize rides for everyone. Hubby and I volunteered to take CAL and another child. Because we only have the Wrangler now, we were only able to fit one extra person. I still didn't have a definite answer from the coordinator. Saturday arrived (the day of the game) and 11:00 a.m rolled around and we still didn't know ANY details. The game started at 3 p.m. Hubby was starting to flip his noodle. He is getting so he cannot handle the smallest amount of stress, and tends to make stressful situations where they don't exist.

We finally got the call, and head to Boston. We parked the car where we always do and headed toward the "T". Suddenly we noticed a car wreck in front of us. There were a ton of cars (about 25). At first my heart dropped and then I saw people laying in the road and quickly realized that it was staged. It was pretty cool. It was like walking through a disaster area. We walked past this one lady that was freaking out. She kept saying "oh sweet Jesus", and crying, and was in distress. I don't think she had caught on to the fact that it wasn't real. I mentioned this to a "worker" as we walked by her and I hope that she put this poor womans mind at ease.
(it is hard to see but all these cars are in the middle of the road and there is a car on it's side right behind this front car) We dropped the boys off at the Fenway and then Hubby and I headed back to Fanuiel Hall to grab a bit to eat. It was a lot of fun, we had not been into the city in a while. After eating we had enough time to grab the "T" back. (Oh on the way to get something to eat we walked). When we arrived back at Fenway there were a ton of people leaving and Hubby thought the game was over and again had a panic attack, honestly I don't know what is wrong with him.
We retrieved our kids and decided to head back to the "accident" scene. That is where we were able to ask questions and the boys took pictures.

The day ended after a very long drive home (or at least it seemed long) especially after we had this punk kid pass us on the right and throw rocks all over our car. I don't know how the windshield didn't get hit. He was weaving through traffic and going from one side to the other. Were are the police when you need them? I still have to check the car to see how much damage he did.
A great time was had by the boys. I don't think the people that paid money to see the game were too thrilled. I would be a little upset if I spent $100 per ticket to see my team give up eight runs in the first two innings. There were some really angry people leaving Fenway.
Nuttin wong with a brother b'in confident!

Entwistle's Defense
Rachel Entwistle killed the baby and then herself. If any member of the jury should believe that, I have oceanfront property in Arizona that I need to sell.
Neil Entwistle has come out with the outlandish "defense". He had kept it a secret this long because he wanted to "protect his wife's honor and cover up her actions". He admits to returning the murder weapon to his father in-law but only on Rachel's behalf. Only in order to protect her from her actions.
This is a movie quality trial and I am sure that is what he is going for. He is hoping that he can have an OJ.
Neil found Rachel and the baby after returning home from running errands. He then claims (for the first time today, it appears) that he needed to cover up Rachel's misdeeds and then instead of calling police, he went to the airport and flew home to be comforted by his parents in ENGLAND.
There a big problems with Neils' story. Rachel's DNA was found on the gun but only on the muzzle.
Then because this defense lawyer Elliot Weinstein is a total scum bag he gives an explaination of why 911 was never called: "Neil was never focused on making a 911 call. How could he permit the police to come knowing that Joe's revolver on the bed would permit the police to know what Rachel did."
I wonder who came up with this sh*% the defense lawyer or Neil. Either way they are both guilty of murder. The lawyer is guilty for trying to cover up a crime. This goes well beyond a defense.
Lawyers like this should NEVER find work again. The problem is he will be a hero to the criminals after this trial.
First we had the 10 interview mistakes
- I hated my last boss.
- I don't know anything about the company.
- No, I don't have any questions for you.
- I'm going to need to take these days off.
- How long until I get a promotion?
- Are you an active member in your church?
- As Lady Macbeth so eloquently put it....... (they want your answers not a cliche)
- And another thing I hate.....
I came up with eight of my own.
- I need to come in late on Monday's because I am usually hung-over.
- Do you offer any assistance with bail?
- Can you excuse me while I go take a crap.
- I have been fired more times than I can count but I want to look at the future not the past.
- (in Boston) I am a Yankee's fan.
- Do you do drug testing?
- I need you to sign this.... It's for my parole officer.
- Do you mind if I bring my kids to work if I can't find a babysitter?
Is it really time to remove God!
'The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some Poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right? The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the President. In essence 2/3 of the citizenry just ain't happy and want a change. So being the knuckle drag ger I am, I started thinking, 'What are we so unhappy about?''
A. Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week?
B. Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter?
C. Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job?
D. Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?
E. Maybe it is the ability to drive our cars and trucks from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each
state?
F. Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter?
G.. I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough either.
H. Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and provide services to help all and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.
I.. Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home.
J.. You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames, thus saving you, your family, and your belongings.
K.. Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes, an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss.
L.. This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where 90% of teenagers own cell phones and computers.
M.. How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world?
Maybe that is what has 67% of you folks unhappy.
Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen. No wonder the world loves the U.S., yet has a great disdain for its citizens. They see us for what we are. The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don't have, and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.
I know, I know. What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out? The president who has a measly 31 percent approval rating? Is this the same president who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11? The president that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession? Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks? The commander in chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me?
Did you hear how bad the President is on the news or talk show? Did this news affect you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn't take a look around for yourself and see all the good things and be glad? Think about it......are you upset at the President because he actually caused you personal pain OR is it because the 'Media' told you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day.
Make no mistake about it.
The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have died for your freedom. There is currently no draft in this country. They didn't have to go.
They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ''general'' discharge, an 'other than honorable'' discharge or, worst case scenario, a ''dishonorable' ' discharge after a few days in the brig.
So why then the flat-out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans?
Say what you want but I blame it on the media. If it bleeds it leads and they specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts. How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations. They offer what sells, and when criticized, try to defend their actions by 'justifying' them in one way or another. Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like O.J. Simpson to write a book about how he didn't kill his wife, but if he did he would have done it this way......Insane!
Turn off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage. Then start being grateful for all we have as country. There is exponentially more good than bad. W e are among the most blessed people on Earth and should thank God several times a day, or at least be thankful and appreciative.' 'With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, 'Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?'
Well said!
Children abused by their parents.
I hope they are looking into arresting every disgusting adult that walked through the doors. They should be able to take DNA or fingerprints or something and charge those scum bags also.
In all six adults have been charged including a PARENT of three of the children.
The attorney of one of the defendants Patrick Kelly is concerned with him getting a fair trial. Yeah, that was my first concern when I read the article. "Boy I sure hope those nice people get a fair trial".
The article is not clear in regards to which adults are the "parents" of at least three of the children. It appears this may have been a family affair. The children are now 12, 10, 7 and their 10 year-old aunt.
Then just because these kids have not been through enough, they find out that the person that was given permanent custody of the three siblings was charged with sexually assault in the past.
This is just another example of what happens to a society that refuses to set standards and limits on behavior. We have become a society of "to each his own". Nothing is wrong or immoral. We have to learn to "accept".
UPDATED: OK folks I never in a million years thought I would have someone bashing me about this article. Let me make my point perfectly clear.
The part of society that things this is OK are the individuals that frequented this "business". The fact that they had enough people interested in this type of thing proves my point that society needs to set standards and in this case we have; on one hand sent the message that it is NOT acceptable and yet we have also introduced people to the fact that there are others "like them" out there.
Make no mistake about it. These people will flock together, the fact that they exist and there are many of them. This is not an opinion this is a FACT. There is one organization that I can think of that was "highlighted" on one of the prime time crime shows. This organization has judges, lawyers, doctors, and other highly intelligent people as members. They are growing each and every day. What do they believe? They believe that adults should be allowed to have s3x with children. So don't you dare say that my opinion: "This is just another example of what happens to a society that refuses to set standards and limits on behavior. We have become a society of "to each his own". Nothing is wrong or immoral. We have to learn to "accept" is not based on FACT.
The adults in this case are a part of our society and they are growing each and every day. They are growing because we as the larger part of society refuse to admit they are growing.

View from the screen house
This is the view from standing on the deck. My husband decided to use some colored lights that we had lying around for years. I think it looks really good.
This is a close up that required me getting a little wet because of the rain that we have had most of the day. As with a digital you cannot get a good focus on a nighttime shot. It is really a shame but these pictures do not do it justice. It looks nice.
Insurance
There is the house insurance, car insurance, business insurance, medical insurance, and so many more. I am spending a fortune each month for the security of "what if".
Some of our life insurance comes up for renewal in a few months. I have to get to work and get some life insurance quotes. This is not a task that I am looking forward to.
About the only insurance that we use is the medical insurance. Even there we lose money each and every month. We are paying for that "what if" scenario. There has only been one year that we were covered for more than we paid.
I have often considered becoming self insured. I take what I pay in premiums and put that into an account, and it will just keep building year after year. Unfortunately I don't have the discipline for that type of thing. I wish I did.
Granted a serious illness could wipe out 10 years of savings in a week.
Peep'in Tom
There have been several moments of friction since that point and most of them are because I don't fit his idea of a female.
On Thursday, the last day of school for the kids, a friend of CAL's came at 7 a.m so that he could ride bikes to school with CAL. His mother normally drops him off at the "before school program" but dropped him here instead. I told the boys that they could go for a bike ride before school. After they rode bikes the boy decided to play basketball. This would have been about 7:35. At 7:45 I had to take CAL for an allergy and told the friend he could continue to shot baskets.
When we arrived home the friend was playing Wii. I thought that was strange but didn't question it and the boys headed to school. Later that day my husband told me why he was in the house.
Peep'in Tom called to say that it was too early to be playing basketball and hubby needed to make them stop. This would have been about 7:45 to 7:55. This was the ONLY time that basketball has ever been played that early in this house, EVER. Hubby knew that I would be upset. I wasn't really upset just annoyed.
I decided to see if our neighborhood has a "quiet time". I found that the hours are from 11 pm until 7 am. The boys were well within the time frame. It was 30 to 40 minutes longer than what is required. I was glad that I looked because last night CAL wanted to play B'ball at 8 pm and my husband wouldn't let him because of Peep'in Tom.
Tequila Talking
The next day I decided to give this person a call and while she didn't reject my phone call it was like the Antarctic. I quickly decided that maybe it was the tequila talking.
For the record my simple response was not alcohol induced, should that person remember the situation.
My loving husband!
Lately we have been eating our dinner in the screen house. I elected not to put a table out there this year because it just takes up too much room and it blocks the view of our backyard.
So the other day we are eating dinner (which my husband usually makes - I just thought I would throw that in) and my husband said "Hon, you have some rice on the front of you" I moved my plate to see where, and how much rice I had dropped. I didn't see anything at first and then he said "third roll down!"
Nice.
Capsized Ferry
I cannot imagine the pain and worry that the people in the Philippines must be going through. I know that I was very angry with the ferry company for not shutting down. We assumed that they wold know when it was safe and when it was not. Don't trust anyone. The tragedy in the Philippines is even worse because when they left on the ferry the storm was small. It turned bad during the trip.
I learned a very valuable lesson that day. I don't trust anyone to make decision for me. I must use my best judgment. It is better to be safe than sorry (or dead)

Pamibe has talent
That picture scares me. I think that is what Obama is going to look like after he wins the election and the rest of us find out he is really working for Osama. Obama for Osama will be his slogan then.
What was he thinking?
The thing that I found interesting about the article is the other "complaints" against him. He taught creationism ALONGSIDE evolution. Oh my say it isn't so. How dare he give the children both sides of the argument. There is more evidence in science to prove creationism than to prove evolution. Don't take my word for it do the research (if you can find it). Scientists have been punished for years for publishing their finding if they support creationism. Ask Ben Stein!
I love when Christians put a degree on sin. Homosexuality seems to be in the top 10 along with murder, and other sex crimes. Fortunately the bible makes it very clear as to what the "biggest" sin is. Not loving God with your whole mind and body. I would like to remind everyone that this is impossible. The minute you think about something besides God you are sinning. It is impossible not to sin. Once you admit that you are well on your way. This does not mean that we have a license to sin.
The real case in this story is that a child was branded by a teacher. It is irrelevant what the branding was. A cross, a skull, a letter P. It doesn't matter. People seem to be more upset that it was a "cross". I would be upset that it was done.
This teacher was a nut. Pure and simple. He just happen to be a religious nut. That doesn't make Christianity wrong. It makes him a NUT!
Man who feels "violated" should feel "lucky"
A Lakeville, MN man, Troy Molde, feels violated after two police officers wake him up at 3 am to tell him his door is unlocked. The problem is that is not the entire story.
During a public service campaign the officers noticed that Mr. Molde's garage door was open, the TV was on and his keys were left in his truck. They entered the house to investigate. Now can you imagine what would have happened if they had NOT entered the house after seeing such signs, and there was a problem. The news media would have had a field day and friends and relatives would have stood in line to sue the police department.
The best part of the story is this, four children under seven were having a sleepover. Yes you read that right. This guy is crazy. He has four seven year olds in the house and he leaves the keys in the truck and the house totally unlocked. This guy is a child molesters dream parent.
Mr. Molde must not have too many brains. I would be brushing this incident under the rug real fast because I would not want the parents of those children knowing how irresponsible I was while I had their children. Family or NOT!
Shame on the media for writing a story that appears to take the side of the irresponsible parent.

The American Flag is still missing
Was it Wright or that other racists preacher that claimed that Hillary thought she was entitled to the presidency. I think Mr. Obama has some entitlement issues of his own. I don't know about you America, but I don't think this election is sewn up yet. I know Obama thinks he has it won but I would still like to cast my vote. How about you? Do you want to vote or should Obama just take over?
Outstanding Citizens
The first case comes to us from Los Angeles CA, where Starkeisha Brown and her lover Krystal Matthews have been charged with torturing Brown's five-year-old son. Brown and Matthews burned the child with cigarettes (including his genitals). His hand was burned so badly he could not fully open it. He had a broken tooth that had a nerve exposed, he was in kidney failure brought on by malnutrition. According to the media two county supervisors are blaming welfare and law enforcement agencies for missing earlier chances to rescue the child from what police say were months of "unbearable psychological and physical abuse." I mean that is the most reasonable place to start. Blame everyone except the monsters who are truly responsible. Why is it that you need a license to operate a boat, car, motorcycle, to get married, to have a dog, or a ton of other reasons, but we don't make people take any sort of course or class to have a child? EVERYONE can benefit from parenting classes.
The second case is one that I was happy to hear about. They have caught the two animals who shot the Pregnant Bank Teller. You might remember back in April there was a bank robbery in Indianapolis and the robbers shot the bank teller for no apparent reason. She was pregnant with twin girls and lost the babies. They will not be charged with the babies murder because Democrats don't believe that a baby is a baby, until it is born. These outstanding citizens are Brian Kendrick and Aaron Stewart. My sympathies to Katherin Shuffield, I am sure that she is happy and overwhelmed with sadness at the same time.
Naomi Campbell has been sentenced to 200 hours of community service for assaulting two police officers in London. I wonder if this is the normal sentence for this type of crime.
Then there is the Pregnancy Pact in Glouster, MA. Young teenage girls have decided it is cool to get knocked up. One of the girls went as far as having s3x with a 24 year old homeless man in order to get pregnant. The girls were giving each other high fives as the left the clinic confirming they were pregnant. The question in the article is "Is Shame Gone from Pop Culture?" I think it is awfully funny to have the media ask that question. In this day and age of acceptance no matter what. There is no shame in any behavior anymore. As it evident by the problem on the beaches in the Cape.
Officials on the Cape in Provincetown and Truro are looking to crack down on the increased number of people having s3x on the beach. Provincetown! Wow that is a huge shocker. The land of the free. People visit P-town and lose all sense of right and wrong. Tourists have filed several reports of groups of men having s3x on the beach. To the locals it is normal. It is the tourists that don't understand how P-town works.
Do you see a theme here? I do but, if I mention it, I will get hate mail so I will leave the theme up to your imagination.
Slow
I have noticed that my computer is not as fast as when I first received it back from my computer guy but..... I cannot abide by all his suggestions. For crying out loud, I want to use my computer. Some of the things he suggested limit my use to the point of what is the sense.
I don't know, do you think I should invest in some of these CAT6 products? I think that I might purchase the AVG software and see if that might help fix things. The other option, that I do not want to do, is to have my computer rebuilt.
I am having a hard time finding information
I know that each state has laws but, we live in the "live free or die" state and we don't have a helmet or seat belt law. I will not leave the driveway without making sure the entire car is buckled. I make CAL wear his helmet on his bike, scooter, and rollerblades. Obviously I want to keep him safe and not allow him to have any freedom before he is physically/mentally ready for it.
A nice tan but......
My son will become a lawyer one day. He LOVES to argue. It doesn't matter about what. He just loves to debate. I blame us for "allowing" it for so long, and I also blame his choice of past playmates. The child across the street is the master debater. Because of this tendency to argue I am choose my battles carefully. I think he will eventually learn his lesson.
Once already this summer CAL has a really bad burn that blistered and then cracked and bled. I have tried to stress the fact that the sun can cause skin cancer, but he is only eleven and isn't the least bit worried about what "might" happen fifty years from now.
Cancer scares me....... My neighbor is not talking to me so I don't know how she is doing but, I see her out and about so I assume everything is good.
My grandfather died of lung cancer, thanks to my grandmothers habit of chain smoking. I don't ever remember her without a lit cigarette in the ashtray. Of course, Grandma is still alive at 90+ and Gramps has been gone for over 25 years. My other grandfather died of mesothelioma (i think). I didn't know that grandfather very well and my mom doesn't talk about him much. They were close but he was never close with my sister and I, just my brother. I think it was one of those "male" things. My husband wonders why I have an anti-men attitude. Where I come from the male is supreme and the female is............. I don't want to say nothing but close to it.
Anyway that is for my psychiatrists' coach.
What a blast
We had 25 of CAL's classmates. I think everyone had a great time and some of the kids did not leave until 6:30. It was different than most of our Friday get-togethers. Most of the kids just wanted to hang out and talk. Unlike on Friday's when they want to play an organized game. Some kids had a harder time dealing with the relaxed atmosphere and were constantly trying to "arrange" something.
CAL was in 7th heaven because both of the girls that he has liked for several years were here. Now he is so shy that he tried to stay as far away from them as possible. Something he has to work on. Some of the kids are more advanced with the opposite sex and several times I had to remind them that it was not appropriate to make someone else uncomfortable.
We had purchased food and then at the last minute felt like we might not have enough so we made a mad dash to Sam's for more. I guess it is better to have too much rather than not enough. We only used half of the original purchase. I think we might be eating hamburgers and hot dogs for the rest of the summer.
Several of the kids asked it this was going to be a "tradition" and if it was to make sure that we invited them next year. Since most of the kids are neighborhood kids that should not be too difficult.
One of the "fun" things the kids did was have a mud bath. They found a sinkhole in my garden that I just removed from the front year. The slip n slide drained into the garden which was all soft dirt. They had a hole about two feet deep and the girls decided to have fun with it. Now today I have to repair that section. What a mess.
Now that school is out
In order to get to all this work I really should invest in work boots. For as clumsy as I am I should get the steel toed kind. I have a lot of rocks and heavy things to move.
Today I am just going to rest. I have a business to run and come five o'clock I will take the rest of the day off.
Tomorrow we might have a surprise for CAL. I hope it works out. If it does I am going to require someone with a DVR to help me out. If it doesn't work out "oh well" it will be better for hubby and I.

Are you tired of the domino effect?
Bottom line: I cannot help but to believe that in the world today, less is better. We need to get back to a simpler life.

They have written about Barack Obama 1746 times. John McCain 920 times. Does this sound like fair "reporting". It is these news channels that have kept this unqualified Democrat in the race.
I think it speaks volumes that the current President of the US only has 268 articles but Obama is at 1746.
Looking for the article in Sport Illustrated
The "journalist" proceeded to say why the Celtics would not win the Championship.
I looked and either SI has pulled the article (out of embarrassment) or my title is not correct.
If you know what I am talking about please let me know.
Congratulations CAL
Tomorrow we will have a BBQ with some of his friends. It is going to be a busy 24 to 48 hours. Don't expect much here.

Coupon Codes at CouponNinja
I don't think I have ever placed an online order without a coupon. There are just too many choices out there to make a purchase without some incentive.
I have several sites that I go to when looking for coupons but my first choice is always the CouponNinja. All you have to do is long on search for your store and enter the Coupon Codes when you check out.
With gas prices rising, and the economy in the Johnny Hopper, who couldn't use a little extra savings.
I always save money when I shop at my favorite on line store Old Navy. CouponNinja helps me save on shipping or even better a 10% discount if I use my Old Navy card.
Pitiful - Although if someone offered

My blog is worth $6,209.94.
How much is your blog worth?
If someone offered me $6K+ I would take it in a heartbeat. I plugged in some other addresses, and mine is the lowest of anyone that I see.
What is pitiful is my proofreading abilities.
Is Tony Soprano really dead?
Human feet are washing ashore in Vancouver. This is the fifth foot found in the area in the past eleven months.
According to Constable Sharlene Brooks of the Delta Police in BC "Our first step is to establish identity". I don't think the pun was intended.
UPDATE: They found another one.
The Hulk Hogan saga
I do have one problem. The Victim. The victim is just as guilty as the Hogan boy. He got into that car willingly. He knew that Nick was drunk or had been drinking. He didn't ask Nick to stop and get out of the car. He was probably laughing and encouraging him to "go faster". Yes Nick was the driver, and yes he was the one responsible for the crash but the victim has to take some responsibility for his actions also.
He will. He will live with his mistake for the rest of his life. Nick is the "lucky" one he can continue with life as normal in a few months. The other person cannot BUT I don't think victim is the correct word.
You must take some responsibility for your own actions. If you get into a car and you know the driver is drunk then you are NOT a victim.

OK CNN you are pushing the envelope
OK I don't want any of my readers to miss out on such a news worthy event so here you go:
There now don't you feel we are in a better place after seeing that?Men are always saying that it is a turn on to see two women making out. Now tell me my "male" readers, are you totally turned out now?
That sounds painful
I know how much my bum hurts after riding my bike I cannot imagine riding naked. Those seats but be real nasty. Especially if the female is, oh shall we say loose.
OK now that I have given you that mental picture I will be done for the night.
Oh NO, there was a fire on Morey’s Piers
The fire started sometime around 1 a.m. and was in the general area of the Super Scooters, Mini Scooters, and the Seal Flume rides.
The fire was quickly brought under control and the park opened as usual.
Have I ever mentioned how much I love Wildwood?
OK so who is guilty on this one.
Jon Savarino Schillaci is a child molester/rapist. He was on the FBI's ten most wanted list. Schillaci most recent crime is molesting a young boy in Deerfield, NH in 1999.
Now for the ridiculous part of the story. Schillaci was in prison serving time for RAPING TWO CHILDREN when he started corresponding with a family from Derryfield. He gained their trust and when he was released they took him into their home. The same home that contained young children. He molested their 5 year-old son. I am sorry but the parents are guilty of more than poor judgment. There HAS to be something they can charge them with: neglect, aiding and abetting, something!
The FBI agent is quoted as saying: "We have a family who brought someone into their home and took them in their darkest hour coming out of prison, and he violated that trust." I have one thing to say. That five year old is the victim and he has no one to blame except his parents. They didn't protect him. The parents are NOT these good hearted people who are now victims.
Parents MUST be held more accountable when they do not protect their children. This applies to this type of situation and also when a female allows her "new boyfriend" to abuse her children.
Black Widow Grandma - UPDATED
If this was a male with five dead wives, it would be plastered all over the news. I only briefly heard about it on CNN.
Police have ignored the warning signs for years, but she was finally caught when she tried to hire a hit man. It looks like in the past she took care of matters herself. She got a little sloppy on number four.
76-year-old Betty Johnson Neumar has been charged in the death of Harold Gentry. Harold's brother has been working for 20 years to get police to take another look at Betty.
This lady appears to be a black widow. It is unclear what the motive might be. I don't know if she wanted their money or if she was just bored.
She looks like just a sweet little old lady.
Sorry Obama but it is not just a black thing.
Now I am sure that my husbands children will think I am the last person that should be blogging about this issue, considering their father left. He always gave financial support but frankly that was the extent of it. Why? Well it is not always the man's fault. Sometimes the wife/mother makes the situation unbearable and the men feel they have no other option.
Back to Obama he said that too many black fathers are "missing from too many lives and too many homes". Obama frequently emphasized the importance of God in his life and then asked the crowd to pray for him and pray for Michelle. Now this is the same Obama that said sin is : Being out of alignment with my values. He doesn't mention God when he talks about sin. He talks about himself.
Obama is claiming that if he is elected he wants to offer a tax credit to men who pay support. What? Give men a reward for something they should be doing anyway. That is just silly. You should punish when they don't do the right thing but to reward for doing what they are obligated to do? This sounds like grade school where teachers are so desperate to make a child behave that they reward they do doing what is expected.
There are so many things that scare me about Obama the list grows longer and longer everyday.

Happy Father's Day
Now we are watching Pearl Harbor, and trying to do a little business at the same time. It is pretty scary to think that the commander in charge of Pearl Harbor was standing next to some golf bags when the Japanese hit.
I hope all fathers out there have a great day.

Slip and Slide
We purchased the triple racer. It worked great until a child that is way too old, tall, and heavy started playing. He slid down the part that the water comes out and it exploded. I have tried to repair it but even duct tape won't work. Now we just put a water sprinkler and run a hose on low to fill the pool at the bottom. It works great and has received so much use that it was worth every penny.
I purchased the Banzai version of the slide and slide. Don't waste your money. It only last two or three slides by age, weight, and height appropriate kids. Worthless. When you compare the Whamo-O version to the Banzai it is very clear why the price difference. The Banzai is a much lighter plastic. The kids had a really hard time actually sliding. The plastic is so thin. Junk. Did I mention that the Banzai version is junk and don't waste your money.
I have recently seen pictures of an adult sliding on a slip and slide. I wonder if that person has lost their minds. The box clearly states up to 12 years old (and they don't mean a mental age) 110 pounds, (and I not trying to be mean but this person weighs a "little" more than 110), and it gives a height I think it was 5 feet, (this person is way over 5 feet tall). They are lucky they didn't break their back. I would not recommend ANY adult to slip on the slide. The kids have tried to get me to go on the slide, no money is worth it, and let me tell you I will do just about ANYTHING.
CAL and his friends have several different "baseball games" that they play with the slide. Usually it includes sliding out the bottom the pool and touching a base five feet beyond the slide. By the time they are done they are sliding through a huge puddle of mud.
On Friday we had 10 to 15 kids here at different times. They used the slide for close to 3 hours on and off. The water sprinkler and hose worked great. We will be having the "last day of school cook out" on Thursday and I hope the slide can last one more day. After the "crowd" is done I think I will invest in another slide for the rest of the summer.
Bottom line. Invest the money for the Whamo-O version, and try your best to follow the age, height, and weight requirements. Oh and don't let them get a long running start, they hit the bottom of the pool too hard and it will break.
What is the punishement for not calling a "one-night-stand"?
Kristina Caban was angry with Sammy for not calling her back after a s3x filled one night stand and enlisted the help of her current boy friend, Robert Testagrossa to help her.
What was Testagrossa thinking? Did he think he might receive the same punishment (or worse) in the future. Let me tell you, I would have thought the minute she mentioned such a thing the current boyfriend would have been running as fast as he could.
Caban has been sentenced to five years in prison. Five years sounds like a lot I didn't even think you got five years for raping and killing someone.
Testagrossa (whose parents are prosecutors - his father was involved in the Sean Bell case and his mother is a lawyer in Nassau County) will be allowed to graduate from college and then serve his five years.
Sara will have a permanent, tragic memento of this encounter with Caban. Frankly it could have been worse. He could have contracted AIDS.
Go to your room takes on a new meaning.
They have arrested her bother and sister, and the 80-year old mother.
The police believe that the family was angry with the women for getting pregnant out of wedlock. The women was 29 years old when this happened. Twenty-nine she was an adult! This should not have been an embarrassment for the family. It was not like she was 15 when she got pregnant.
The child is now 17 and lives with other relatives and didn't even know about his mother.
This family has some serious control issues. I know some of my relatives think that I am a bit controlling. I hope you read this article and see that I am just about perfect.
It's 10 o'clock, do you know where your Grandmother is?
If convicted Maria could face life in prison. Life?
They found the drugs sewn into the lining of notebook binders, a jewelry case, and in women's slippers.
Those poor "authorities", I am sure they thought they could trust little old ladies. Now they have to add them to their "profiling"

I am SHOCKED
Apparently he is going to form a new organization. I didn't even read the article, that's how much I just don't even care about Ron Paul. The new organization probably has something to do with outer space which is where I think Paul came from, or is that where he thinks he was taken? I don't know it is all very confusing.

Happy Anniversary
Eighteen years later we are going through difficult times but I am confident that we will pull threw this mess. We just need to reorganize and decided which is the best road to travel. We are both fighters and go getter's that became complacent. We work it out and our business will be very successful in the future.
More evidence of Global Warming!
There was packed snow and ice on the roadway. The skiers in the area are loving this global warming and they hope that it becomes much worse.
News worthy Knuckleheads!
A man walks into a gas station/convenience store and hands the cashier his drivers license (in order to get a pump turned out - the stores way of dealing with drive offs) He then leaves the store and returns with a gun and demanded money from the clerk.
The clerk knew the robber Kenneth Lane Holliday, apparently he is a regular at the station and most of the clerks know him on a first name basis. Holliday was given the money and he left but forgot his drivers license.
OK great you would think this guy would be easy to find. I guess not because the police are asking for anyone with information to call them. How much more information do they need? I could understand if the guy skipped town but if they need more "information" they would not be a police department that I would have much confidence in.
Surprise!
It was addressed to our "family" and it was from someone that I would NOT expect to be receiving something from. I jokingly asked my husband "do you think it will blow up if I open it". I quickly emailed a person that I was sure would know what was in the package. I told her that we received a package and just wanted to make sure that it would not blow up if I opened it. Oh well, I guess my humor was not very well received and got a annoyed answer back. I quickly apologized and chalked it up to the fact that I really cannot say anything that doesn't upset this person anyway. It is just a fact. We both claim that the other is overly sensitive about things and I guess that is just the relationship that we will always have.
Anyway I digress, it contained funny t shirts. Really cool flag t-shirts. I handed them to hubby and asked him to please email the sender and thank her. I can bet you $100 that he didn't do that.
So here is the thank-you. Thank-you very much the shirts are really cool and all three of us like them very much and will wear them to school tomorrow. Friday is school spirit day and since our school has a very patriotic name it is appropriate.

Dennis Kucinich you are an IDIOT
The funny part of the story is two fold. 166 of the votes in favor of opening a House impeachment debate came from Republicans. They were eager to pain Democrats for the morons that they are, in a time of serious issues.
Now the funniest, Dennis Kucinich voted AGAINST his own bill.
This idiot should be sent packing for wasting valuable time and money. Ohio voters wake up and send this guy back where he belongs - the unemployment line.
The yearbooks are a hit
I wish that I had a micro sd card when I was taking all of those picture. It would have been so handy. There were several times that I had to stop taking pictures because my memory stick was full. This would have allowed me to take all the pictures in one day.
Oh well maybe for my next yearbook. It is my understanding that they have already told the people at our next school that I know how to do the yearbook. I received a call from the PTO President the other day. I told her at the moment I was not committing to ANYTHING. Gosh give me a breather..........
I am unsure of the details
CAL went to a park to help clean up and they took his picture and now they want to use it in their advertising material.
Again I don't know any details because she talked to the hubby, who isn't big on details. You know what I know.
Only six more days until
I can always dream about those Hilton Head rentals. Taking a vacation in my mind is better than none at all.
I think our vacation will consist of several trips Atlantic coast of New Hampshire. We will make the best of what we have available.
How about you? Are you doing anything "special" this summer? I am really hoping that our house becomes the "kids place to hang out this summer". CAL needs to start building some friendships that don't include video games.
The past couple days have been slip and slide days. The problem is that I cannot afford all these slip and slides. The kids are breaking them faster than I can purchase them. I think we are going to have to start making out own. Has anyone tried this? I don't know how to give them the "pool" at the bottom.
I need something refreshing.
What do you drink/eat when it gets this darn hot? We have freeze pops but they just make me thirsty. I have my Ring Dings in the fridge and they are good but you should only eat one of those a day. I need more. Maybe something with a lot less calories, sugar, and fat.
I have been drinking enough water to fill a small pool. Soda is not refreshing by any stretch of the imagination.
Network Solutions for all your hosting needs.
We finally settled on Network Solutions for our web hosting provider. I found there customer service to be exactly what the doctor ordered. They have 24/7 support and their people actually take their time with you and don’t make you feel silly. I understand why they won the Find My Host Editor’s Choice Award for June 2008. It was well deserved.
They also offered 99.9% uptime. I know how important this feature is because you never know when someone is on your site trying to place an order, only to have the site go down. You lost the order and most likely you lost a customer. They will just order the part on a working site.
After a couple years we left Network Solutions because they were not price competitive with our current hosting company. I must confess though that I just looked at their “packages” and noticed that they are cheaper than what I am paying now. I am going consider switching back to Network Solutions.
Reunited
I cannot imagine the pain and torture this family has been through or will go through. It is hard for me to comprehend them being reunited so quickly.
I am glad that in the end these kids have a chance at a normal life.
Man looses 550 pounds but still has more to go
I have wondered how he is doing and now CNN has run a story about him.
Manuel Uribe weighed over 1235 pounds and met the love of his life who has taken care of him during his weight loss. Now he has lost 550 pounds but still cannot stand. His dream is to loose enough this year in order to walk down the isle with his fiancee, Claudia Solis. Apparently Ms. Solis has a thing for overweight guys. He better be careful not to loose too much weight.
Here is a before picture. I remember that his legs had these huge tumors and sores on them.
He is looking pretty good now.

Dan Boren, Oklahoma
He said
"We're much more conservative," Boren said of his rural district which stretches across the eastern part of the state and borders Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas.
"I've got to reflect my district. No one means more to me than the people who elected me. I have to listen to them," Boren added. His congressional office confirmed the accuracy of the quotes to CNN.
Boren also said Obama's record "does not reflect working in a bipartisan fashion."Then for some stupid reason he said: he would vote for Obama at the party's convention in August because of the serious issues the country faces.
So in other words is it politics as usual. You are not the best person for the job but I am going to vote for you anyway because we are both Democrats. For crying out loud people get some morals and do what is right. The problem is Democrats have no idea what is "right". They have pushed the envelope so far they cannot see the difference between right and wrong. To each his own, is the way they live life.
That is such nonsense. We have to have standards and rules to live by.
I give Mr. Boren credit for making a stand, too bad he doesn't have enough of a backbone to make the stand mean something.
