I have become a news junkie these past few months. I now have a new widget in my side bar.

It's the little things that drive me crazy.

Last night the phone rang at about 11:15. We had a pretty good idea who was calling. Our teachers here in Nashua are having contract issues and this was the phone call telling parents whether they would be striking on Monday or not.

My husband answers the phone, listens to the message and then hangs up. I lay there for a few minutes waiting for him to relay the message........ nothing......... he rolls over and acts like he is going back to sleep.

I thought I was going to deck him. This is not the first time he has done this. It is safe to say this is not the tenth time he has done this. He does this almost daily. He will get off the phone and then say, NOTHING. I have to ask every time.

I wait a few more seconds and then screamed WELL. "Oh I didn't realize you were awake." he said. Like I could sleep through a phone ringing four feet away. Like he didn't notice me tossing and turning and adjusting my pillow. I didn't feel like arguing about it, so just waited for his response. After several more seconds he finally broke the news "we have school tomorrow, the teacher strike has been averted" DARN IT! was my response and I went back to sleep.

DARN IT may seem like a strange response but honestly I am just sick and tired of this entire teacher strike mess and I personally think that the teachers would lose more than anyone if they strike. I basically consider this year a total waste of time. I would not even care if they ended school tomorrow.

Hey, Judge Joseph Dugan do you have your proof yet?

Judge Joseph Dugan denied the request of a permanent protective order against Mark Castillo. According to his wife, he threatened the lives of his children in order to make her suffer.

Mark Castillo drowned his three small children in a bathtub at the Marriott this weekend and then made a very weak attempt to take his own life.

But the Honorable Judge Joseph Dugan rejected a permanent order January 10, 2007. In explaining his decision, Dugan wrote there was "no clear or convincing evidence that the alleged acts of abuse occurred."

Hey Judge do you have enough proof now?

Another OJ on the loose.

The death of Anna Nicole Smith's son ruled an accidental drug overdose by a Bahamas jury; no criminal charges recommended.

I firmly believe that Howard Stern is the white OJ. He saw dollar signs and Daniel stood in his way. When Anna caught on to him opps he did it again.

You have to be kidding me.

The two "victims" of the tiger attack at the zoo have filed claims. You have to be kidding. If you poke a dog with a stick and it bites you...... is it the dogs fault? I think not. These two idiots should have their case thrown out before any cameras arrive. They are seeing dollar signs and that is just wrong.

They taunted that tiger until that tiger just could not take it anymore. It is not the fault of the zoo (even if the wall was shorter then recommended). It was the fault of the drunk idiots. The judge/jury in this case needs to send them packing.

No Evidence of a Murder Plot?

Yeah and Oswald was a lone shooter. The coroner has determined that there is no evidence that the British secret service or any government agency had anything to do with Princess Diana's death.

This has to be the biggest cover-up in world history.

I think that Mohamed Al Fayed (Dodi Fayed's father) has clouded the details of the case with wild accusations. He would have been much better off to just plant some seeds of doubt and then stand back and watch.

The world will never know.

I had a feeling this was the case.

In Baltimore Maryland a man killed his three kids at a Marriott hotel and then called the front desk. He was taken to the hospital for "minor" self inflected wounds.

When the story first broke all the police knew was that three children were dead and a man called the front desk telling them to check the room.

It appears that Mark Castillo and his wife were in a custody dispute. This breaks my heart when this happens. The children were killed to get back at his wife.

The mother is often helpless in cases like these. She is obligated to let the children go with their fathers but we are seeing more and more of these cases. We had a case in NH a couple years back. It was a national case but for the life of me I cannot think of the names. He took the kids for the weekend and they were never returned. They didn't find the bodies for years. The father did the respectable thing and killed himself in prison.

UPDATE: He drowned the three kids in the bathtub at the hotel. This is the classic case of I don't want you to have them and I cannot so I will kill them. Custody disputes are ending this way more and more each year. How do we stop this from happening? If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. Parents that kill their children do not deserve to have a trial. It should be the immediate death penalty. Again I will go back to my way to decrease the surplus prison population.

ANOTHER UPDATE: A Judge turned down Amy Castillo's request for permanent protective order. Apparently the scum bag Mark Castillo had threatened to kill the kids before. Now a scum bag judge who thinks he knows everything and loves to sit on his throne and pass judgment on everyone, made a decision that caused the death of three innocent children. That judge needs to be held responsible. The minute that a parent threatens to kill a child they should NEVER see that child again.

We MUST make Judges accountable for their bad decisions. If I make a bad decision and that causes the death of someone I am held accountable.

I have always loved candy. I cannot really tell you my favorite kind because it depends on the day. I love chocolate and nuts, but there are some days that I love the sour candy also.

If I had to choice my least favorite kind of candy, jelly beans and nerds would be in my top 10.

Last Saturday I had to make a mad dash to the grocery store to purchase a few candy items for CAL for Easter. I didn't plan on getting much. Thank goodness because the store was pretty much picked clean. I didn't want to spend more than $5.00 on the candy (because that was all I had)

One of the items that I purchased (out of necessity) was Nerds Bumpy Jelly Beans. I put them back on the shelf several times before finally saying "the heck with it" and marching to the register.

Easter morning CAL found his gifts after a short "treasure hunt". He looked at the jelly beans and said "thank you but I don't really like jelly beans" He was not being a brat or unthankful, he just wanted me to know why he didn't plan on eating them.

I told him I didn't really blame him and they didn't really look good to me either, but I was hoping that maybe he would like them.

Several days later I was desperate for a sweet. I broke open the jelly beans. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed these silly things. I convinced CAL to try them and then there was no stopping us. Tonight we finished of the jelly beans and I am very sad to think that I have to wait another year before I can have them again.So if you are wondering what to buy me next year for Easter, Nerds Bumpy Jelly Beans would be an excellent choice.

Harlem Globetrotter University a HUGE disappointment

We went to the Globetrotter’s event in Manchester last night. This was our third time watching the Trotters since we moved to NH. I love them and it is funny because we saw them in Syracuse many years ago and I hated the show.

This years show was a little different then the other two that we have seen. It was basically the same men but the between quarters entertainment was slightly different. The last two years these very talented men came out and used trampolines to do basketball tricks. This was the favorite part of the show for me. This year those same men now did gymnastics tricks. They are still very amazing but frankly I didn’t go to a basketball game to watch gymnastics.

The game was the same old tricks that you have seen done for many years. They include throwing water, stealing the purse, dancing with old ladies, Showtime and his “son” (always a little white boy) and on and on. I love it! The strange thing is all the “black jokes”. They are so politically incorrect in today’s world but alive and well in the Globetrotter world.

Now for the disappointing part, we purchased the “University” ticket package. The “University” was billed as “your child’s chance to get on the court with their players” I cannot find a description of this event now that it is over. I had been telling CAL since November that he was going to be able to get on the court. We even told him that when March came he could invite a friend. A few days ago CAL decided on the friend and I told the child’s mother all about their opportunity to go on the court with the players.

The tickets told us to arrive an hour and a half before game time. We promptly arrived and they ushered us to a section of the arena. We sat. All around us we saw very serious kids, they had even brought their “hi-tops” in anticipation of getting on the court. Four Globetrotter players arrived on the court at 5:30 and the “University” was underway. They told us their motto “CHEER” explained what it stood for and had four children and one adult come down on the court to represent a letter. They talked for a few minutes and then thanked us all for coming.

Everyone looked at each other and just sat there. I looked at the clock and it was 5:45. Yes the “University” was 15 minutes long. When they told us to be there an hour and a half early I thought (and so did everyone else) that the kids would be about 30 minutes on the court. The court time was apparently for the four children that were chosen.

I was so upset. I felt foolish. CAL and his friend both looked at me for answers. I didn’t have any. We then started looking for our real seats. They offered to let the children come down and get their pictures taken with the players. CAL and his friend did that. While they were doing that I went to look for someone to complain to, of course, the only people that I could find where the “arena” people and they we not involved with the “show”.

I will say that we had a great time but….. We paid much more for our tickets because we bought the “University” package. Days before the event they were advertising a four tickets, four dogs, four sodas, for $79.00 that is about $100 less than what we paid. The people sitting one row behind us had this package deal. I was very difficult for me to enjoy the show at this point. I would have rather paid the $79 and then let my son get a basketball or jersey to remember the game. This was not possible considering what we invested in the tickets.

Needless to say……. If you are planning on going to a Globetrotters game I do NOT recommend the “University” package. It is neither worth the extra money nor the time you waste getting to the game early.

Hey this is a way to decrease the prison population

and not put any citizens at risk. Once a month they should have a free-for-all.

A prison in Texas decreased their population by one when fights broke out early this morning. If this is going to work these prisoners are going to have to do a better job next time.

I am thankful that no staff members were injured.

Now I know that I am going to be unpopular with my comments because if you have a loved one in prison they are the only ones in the place that are innocent and they deserve to be protected.

What is happening to our youth.

Almost everyday you hear about teenagers killing people. It seems to me that a week does not go by that this does not happen. Well this sixteen year old will make history books. I cannot be certain but I would assume him to be the youngest serial killer.

In Brazil a 16 year old boy has confessed to killing 12 people in the past three months. He claims that he killed them out of a fit of range or revenge. Police are pretty confident that he killed some of them for enjoyment.

To bad I am not a Democrat, then I could just hide my head in the sand and say it doesn't matter because it happened in Brazil and not here in the US.

College Student Missing Two Months

Am I the only person who has never heard of this case before. In Middlebury VT a college freshmen Nicholas Garza has been missing for two months.

He was last seen on February 5. He was leaving a hall and headed for his dormitory 500 yards away. The police said there is no indication of foul play? Because this young man has disappeared without a trace how can they rule out foul play?

I think it is very interesting that CNN runs the report but neglects to run a picture of the boy. Why would you run a missing person report and not a picture just in case someone has seen him? Something does not ring true in this case.

I wonder why we have not heard of this case. I wonder if this had been a pretty blond, would her face have been plastered all over the news since February 5.

I don't understand how some of these cases go unheard while others we cannot seem to get away from.

I knew I was right

I blogged about the overweight aunt that fell on the child killing him a couple weeks ago. You can read my original blog here.

I was right. There was something more to the story. The aunt has been arrested in this child's murder. It appears that the mother of the child was warned by DSS not to leave the child with the aunt because she could not take care of her self.

Now here is the unbelievable part. The Aunt cannot go to jail because she is too fat. Yes you heard that right. She is too fat to leave the house so she will not be going to jail.

The mother should also be charged with murder.

I love these type of judges

I love cases where judges use some common sense. I doubt that it would hold up in another court or with a higher court but…. Hey, he is trying.

Four men who were facing jail time for a robbery charge can remain on parole if they learn to read and write English, earn their GED and get full time jobs.

Judge Peter Olszewski Jr. has been known for creative sentencing in the past and this is definitely the case here.

This is why the US is in a world of hurt.

Idiots like Larry Silverstein, president and CEO of Silverstein Properties. He is suing several “American” companies because of his losses during 9/11. In other words the terrorist are attacking again. How many times do you have to punish people because they could not predict that these Muslims were going to fly planes full of people into our buildings?

American Airlines could not have dreamt (dreamed, which is it does anyone really know?) up the scenario that happened that day. How could they have protected us against an unthinkable act?

I think we have all forgotten what it felt like that day. I remember that WB called us and told us to turn on the TV and I don’t think I stopped crying for a week.

American Airlines did nothing wrong. Let’s not forget who the terrorist are and were. Angry young Muslims who wanted nothing more than to get a big body count.

Mr. Silverstein should be trying to recoup his money from the organizations that have seized the assets of the terrorists, not the American people. How many times do we have to be punished?

I have the perfect solution

McCain/Rice in 2008. This should satisfy everyone. You will have have the first black, the first female, and a white guy in the white house.

For all of you voting for Hillary because she is female you can now vote for Rice

For all of you voting for Obama because he is black you can vote for Rice.

For all of us voting for McCain because we have a brain you can vote for McCain.

Rice is the perfect choice. She does not appear to be a racist, she is not Muslim, and her husband didn't have an affair in the White House.

It doesn't get any better than this.

Evan Strange you have received your 15 seconds of fame

now you can crawl back in your hole. Evan Strange is the "boy" who asked Chelsea Clinton about her mothers "reaction" to her father's affair.

Evan Strange, the student who asked Chelsea Clinton an uncomfortable question, explains why he did so. Why did he ask such a question? Because he knew that it would give him his 15 seconds of fame, that's why!!!

So many people have said that Chelsea is fair game, she is not 12, and her mother has put her in this position. I agree but there is a line.

You want to know what is wrong with our "system"

it is the fact that cases like these make it to the courts and these lawsuits are "allowed" to be filed.

Carol Gotbaum was on her way to an alcohol rehab center when she missed a flight. She then went ballistic and the police arrested her. They promptly put her in an airport holding cell. I am sure she continued her tirade. During her temper tantrum she accidentally hung herself with the handcuffs.

Now her family is suing for 8 million dollars. They are claiming excessive, unreasonable force along with some other issues. I think the only person in this case that was excessive and unreasonable was Mrs. Gotbaum. Exactly what is wrong with arresting a disorderly person and putting them in a holding cell?

Mrs. Gotbaum MUST be held accountable for her own actions (and she was). That should be the end of the story. If my relative was that much of a lunatic I would want the story dropped as soon as possible.

I am very sorry that this lady died but she did so at her own will. She was so out of control that she accidentally hung herself. Now that is seriously “out of control”. It sounds to me like the police should have had her in a straight jacket and leg cuffs.

Now here is the best part of the article: “The Gotbaum family has publicly admitted, not only that Carol hid her medical and mental condition, but that the officers responded to Carol exactly the way her husband knew they would respond because they did not have critical information known only to the Gotbaum family,"

Airport surveillance video shows Gotbaum’s arrest, with police officers struggling to handcuff her.

So this lady could have seriously hurt someone but the police were wrong? This case should be thrown out and the lawyer that filed it should be fined. If he files another frivolous lawsuit within the next five years, he should lose his license to practice law.

Attention: Democrats!

P L E A S E........... purity PLEASE vote for Obama. According to recent polls, a nod for Obama could help McCain. New polls show that many Democratic voters said they would vote for McCain should their candidate not be nominated. Those voters are Hillary voters, 51%. I never listen to the polls but this one caught my attention.

So again I will say, PLEASE vote Obama.

This election scares me. I am so afraid that Obama is going to be elected. I have never been this scared of an election (even when GORE was running and I was VERY SCARED that year).

Now I will say this to all the people who will come on this site and call me a racist. I will NOT vote for Obama because of his religion and his ties to the Muslim world, and the fact this he is a Democrat, and HE is a racist. It has NOTHING to do with his skin color. It is time for a black man/woman to be President, I could not agree with you more, unfortunately THIS is not the man.

I have an idea. The next time my mother is coming for a visit we are going to go out of town. We need to check out the Branson condos so that we have a place to go on a moments notice.

Do you think she would start to suspect something when they drive for eight hours and then we are not home? Yeah, ok I might need to rethink this plan.

There is no talking to my mother so that is not an option; she would just NEVER talk to me again. I have given her enough hints and I know that she understands but….. she doesn’t want to admit her mistake.

A two year old girl has been trapped in a well for more than a day in AGRA, India. India's army has been leading the rescue effort. Finally an army is being used for a positive reason.

They know that she is alive they can hear her cries for help. What a horrible feeling for the parents of this child. I am not sure if there is any feeling in the world worse than to have your child asking you for help and there is nothing you can do.

I do think the time has come that India take notice of these wells. This is the sixth time a child has fallen into these type of wells in the past two years. Three of the accidents did not end positively.

UPDATED: She has been rescued from the well, a video showed a man emerging from the well (i think?) carrying the little girl. I think she will still need our prayers. I am sure she will have some medical issues to deal with.

If fighting with your spouse is good for your health

both my husband and I will live 'till we're 100. The biggest argument that we have is our parenting styles. My husband has his "ideas" and mine are usually just the flip side.

He has two children from his former marriage and he thinks he is an expert because CAL is my first.

My standard response to him when we get fighting is that he has already screwed up two kids I will not let him raise the third in the same manner. Don't get me wrong his kids (adults now) are horrible, evil, pompous, good for nothing kids, but........ I don't want mine raised the same way. (There WB does that make you feel better?)

My husband believes in denying CAL items that he feels are "evil". I believe in letting CAL have some of those items in moderation and not making them so appealing. When you deny kids (things like toy guns) they become an obsession.

We sometimes fight over little issues. I don't put my keys in the same place every time. That drives him crazy. He is annal regarding laundry. He knows exactly how long it takes the washer to complete a load and he has a "system". The big issues almost always are about CAL.

I hate to break the bad news to you but........

We are all related. Hillary Clinton is a relative, Barack Obama is a relative, we are all related to each other. One man and one woman started this entire cycle we call life and obviously we all had to come from that one man and one woman.

I do find it very interesting that these candidates are related recently enough that we can track it.

I googled my name and found my father's history dating back into the 1600's. It was so very educational. It was only a very small branch of the tree and I didn't see any one famous there. See I told you in an earlier post that I was just white trash.

It's 1 a.m. Tuesday Morning do you know where your 13 year old is?

For a "family" in Dorchester the answer would be drunk and stealing a car. Yes you read that right. Tuesday morning police tried to pull over a car, the suspect refused, crashed into a light pole and then tried to run off.

I am very curious to find out if his mother knew he was out drinking at 1 a.m. on a school night, if she cared, or if the little "angel" did this without any one's knowledge.

He pleaded not guilty the next day. Not guilty of what? We really need to change our justice system. Why in the world would he not be guilty. Not guilty pleas should not be allowed if you are caught red handed. The list of charges against him are: operating under the influence, operating a motor vehicle to endanger, leaving the scene of an accident causing property damage, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, receiving a stolen motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, and resisting arrest.

A future career criminal in the making. We will be supporting this little guy until he is 90 and dies in prison.

I think this judge might be on to something.

Watch this video. It is of an old man that is a convicted sex offender. The judge has ordered that he post signs on this house and car.

The old man is now sad, lonely (because he doesn't have any more victims) and thinks the punishment is unfair.

I say that if all sex offenders received this same treatment that maybe they would think twice about their actions.

He knows what he did was wrong but he does not think his punishment is fair. How about the punishment that he inflected on that poor 9 year old boy. Did that boy deserve the loneliness that he must feel. The only innocent victim in this case is nine and he did NOTHING to deserve his punishment.

I have not one ounce of sympathy for this "gentlemen".

The price of food, gas, health care, and Democrats it's all here.

If you listen to the Democrats you will hear a doom and gloom story about the US economy – the dollar, the price of gas, the price of food, housing, and it is endless. I will be the first to say that I am on the verge of losing everything that I have worked so hard for in the past 25 years. I am not happy with the economy, and it scares me because I do not see things turning around. BUT I do not for one second this that all of this is happening because of the war in IRAQ, or because BUSH is president.

Americans are paying more for gas now than every before, but Canadians, Brits, and several others have been paying these prices for years. I remember as a kid traveling to Canada and seeing gas prices of $3 and $4 per liter and that was 25 years ago.

I am not disputing the fact that the US economy is BAD. But we are not in this alone. Democrats want you to believe that all we have to do is elect a Democrat and everything will be better. That is so far from the truth that it is scary. It is scary to think that when a Democrat is elected they will straddle Americans with their Health Coverage for All. Who pays for that? It is not the rich, they have loopholes, and it is not the poor they cannot afford it. It is the middle class (the one that is rapidly disappearing and melting into the poor category). I cannot afford to pay for someone else’s health coverage I can barely afford my own.

If you think that a government run health care system is the way to go take a look at Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, the old Postal Service, the IRS. They are all mismanaged and ineffective organizations. Do not give your health care to those same people. We need less government in our lives not MORE.

One last thought. If you think medical coverage for all is a win-win situation, talk to someone in MA. It is a total failure there and the state is in debt so far it will never come out.

Pushing the moral envelope

Is it my imagination or are elected officials becoming more controversial by the day? I remember "several" years ago when a Presidential candidate admitted to having an affair, years before. It ruined his campaign and immediately withdrew from the race.

In years past, we insisted that our elected officials have some moral and personal character. This is no longer the case and people actually think that we don't have the right to judge between right and wrong.

Using drugs and having affairs are the "small" sins that we no longer view as a disqualifying trait.

Clinton's insistence that he didn't inhale seems to pale in comparison to his later sins and we seem to have forgotten that his drug use was an issue.

Wine Club for married women

I have decided to start drinking again. I just cannot take family stresses anymore. I have not been drunk in years, but after this weekend I think I am going to try it again.

I have had a drink here or there in the past few years but not enough to even gain a buzz. Several months ago I went to a wine tasting party and that was the closest to a buzz that I have had in eighteen years.

The wine party was very interesting. It was like all the other types of parties; Pampered Chef, Tupperware, and Home Interiors. They want you to sign up for a club. In this case it was a wine club.

I would love to sign up but how would I hide a monthly shipment from my husband? He is strongly against drinking.

Why Mommy is a Democrat, you can catch Why Daddy is a Democrat. I cannot image any self respecting adult reading this garbage to a child.

I would be just as appalled if the book read Why Daddy is a Republican. Our children do not need to be brainwashed at this age. If the book was targeted toward the junior high age and was called why Dad is a Democrat and/or Republican it would make more sense.

The Daddy book is not nearly as offensive as the Mommy book. There are so many hidden "meanings" in the Mommy book. The mother is protecting her children against the "elephant".

Do we really need to spread this type of hatred at this age. The UNITED States is sinking fast people. We are no longer United and we are being taken advantage of. We are too busy fighting amongst ourselves and we are missing the real enemies.

This can't be right?

I just saw an article on CNN about rising gas prices. Now I know this article cannot be true (even though the prices I see posted on the pumps are high) because I was told by hundreds of thousands of Democrats six years ago that the only reason that Bush went to war was to feed America's hunger for gas/oil.

Here we are six years later and the price keeps climbing. Are you trying to tell me that the Democrats were WRONG? That maybe this war has more to do with human suffering and a modern day Hitler than our thirst for gas/oil.

I know we went to war because of WMD's; and we found them. They were called the Hussein family.

Outdoor Garden Fountains

Outdoor fountains are increasingly popular throughout the US. Towns and cities across the country are installing outdoor garden fountains in public places from new York to LA. New York recently saw the installation of a “dry fountain”, an outdoor fountain that uses colored lights to create the appearance of flowing water with no actual h2o. San Diego has long had fountains in its public places like balboa park, with some of them dating to the 20s. the large outdoor fountain at balboa park is a summer attraction for many area kids, as they splash in the water to cool off during hot weather.

Outdoor fountains have a rich history in Europe as well, and today municipalities in America are using such fountains as a way to spruce up public spaces. We watched TV today.

We watched Ben Hur (the first half) today. CAL was glued to the set so he learned so much. That is such a great movie.

That being said, I don't miss the TV. I ate the entire time the movie was on. I cannot sit in front of the TV without eating. I like sitting at the dining room table. The couch is "evil".

After the first half was over we all were ready to turn it off. Hubby played with his aircraft carrier, CAL went outside, and I am trying to catch up on a weekends worth of blogging.

I want my oyster to produce Clorox Wipes.

I have been trying to think of something that an oyster could give me that would be better or different than a pearl.

My mother and her husband have inspired me. I spend so much on cleaning products after they leave, an oyster that produces Clorox Disinfecting Wipes would be a Godsend. I swear that I use an entire bottle of those while they are here.

I don’t touch anything in my house without it being disinfected first. It took me many years to admit it but whenever they would visit or we would visit them, someone in our family would become sick. It is because of all the germs that “The Dick” produces. (his name is Dick)

After this weekend

I might take up drinking again. All the cleaning that has to be done after our "company" leaves is overwhelming. I have to wipe down EVERYTHING that "he" might have touched. Then we throw away anything that he may have come in contact with. Yes I throw away about $25 or more in food after they leave. Today I chucked an entire jar of peanut butter, a loaf of bread, a box of cereal, and more.

What makes matters worse this time is "he" is wearing a cast on his right hand. You should see this hand. It is black with dirt. He has not washed it in six weeks, yet he had to touch everything. I don't think he has taken a shower during those six weeks either.

He never washes he hands and now it is only worse. I cannot tell you how many times I have found "brown stuff" on the toilet handle, the seat, the wall, the paper holder, and the cupboard doors after they leave. I am 100% certain of what that "stuff" is. I am NOT joking about this.

Sometimes I just want to cry. What in the world was my mother thinking. I am going to have to go into drug rehab before this "man" is out of our lives.

I am no Hillary fan but,

Enough is enough. Politics are so dirty. These people will stab each other in the back for a dime. Sometimes it is for even less than that.

Hillary has had her share of backstabbers. These people used the Clintons for what they could get and then when the grass looked greener they jumped ship.

I am sure there are more than what I could ever highlight here so I will talk about two of them.

First you had David Scott, and now you have Bill Richardson. Honestly why in the world would you trust either of these “men” after this backstabbing maneuver?

I have no feelings or sympathy for the Clintons. I am sure they have done their fair share of dirty tricks. What am I saying, of course they have.

I only hope that Hillary wins and these two come crawling back to her. I will get little comfort from another Clinton running for President other than this picture.

David Scott and Bill Richardson you are dishonest, backstabbing, two faced, disloyal, dirt bags and I hope Hillary makes you kiss her feet.

Obviously Richardson learned a lot from the Clintons while he worked with them. Bill taught the world different meaning to common words. Now Richardson is using the same technique. Richardson has given a new meaning to the word loyal.

Judge Richard Moses and his fan club.

Shane A. Carlson of the Bristol County Bar Association, are you out of your mind? You state in your letter that we as a society cannot ask for more than what Judge Richard Moses has given us. Did you stand in front of that little boy who was raped by one of Judge Moses fan club members, and look into his eyes and make that asinine comment?

Judge Richard Moses took it upon himself to declare that these people were “healed and not a danger to society” even though he had evidence showing otherwise. It was because of Judge Richard Moses poor judgment that these animals were free. If I make poor decisions in my job, I am fired and held accountable. I want to know exactly how Judge Moses is being held accountable.

Another statement that you made was: The process of predicting future behavior is not an exact science. Even medical professionals disagree as to whether or not there is a valid scientific basis to support an opinion as to whether or not an individual is likely to reoffend in the future. What you fail to state is that Judge Richard Moses DECLARED these men HEALED. He predicted the future. He said they would NOT re-offend. Look at his judgment. Read it again, and then write your resignation because you are also not capable of making good decisions, and you most definitely have poor judgment. Your position on your friend proves it.

You also state that we are making statements without looking at all the facts. Don’t you agree that Judge Moses didn’t take all the facts into consideration before he turned more than three animals loose on society? Don’t you dare talk to me about being fair to Judge Moses, he was not fair to that little boy and he most certainly was not fair to this society.

The only people in this case that have been treated unfairly are the poor victims of the Judge Richard Moses fan club.

If he is the best that we can ask for, GOD help us all.

I also seriously consider the judgment of the Bristol County Bar Association if you are what they have to offer.

Opps they did it again!

I wonder if this qualifies as cruel and unusual punishment. I would say yes to both but I must confess that I laughed when I read the headline. ‘70s radical-turned-housewife back in prison. It seems that there was an error that released her a year early. She is now back in custody and will remain in prison (hopefully) until March 17, 2009.

I have heard stories in the past where criminals are released on error and then we spend the next 20 years hunting for them. I am glad that Sara Jane Olson was honest enough to return to prison without incident

If you know someone who snores this is for you.

A few weeks ago I received an anti-snore ring in the mail. I was very excited because my husband can get pretty loud at night and I cannot sleep if he is snoring. I am a very light sleeper.

That ring is a miracle cure in a couple different ways. First of all with my husband he stopped snoring the minute I showed him the ring and told him I wanted him to wear it. It was a miracle. He was so opposed to wearing the ring that he stopped snoring. I waited for several days for him to start up again, nothing.

Then my mother called and said they wanted to come for a visit. CAL immediately said “hey Mom you can ask Dick to wear the ring because I have NEVER heard anyone snore more than he does”. We all laughed because my mother’s husband Dick is a really bad snorer and I agree with CAL I have NEVER heard anyone snore louder than he does.

This guy will wake himself up because he snores so loud. I told my mom about the ring and asked if Dick would wear it. He put it on his finger and went to bed. I am NOT exaggerating one bit when I say that he didn’t snore at ALL. It is definitely a miracle cure.

CAL woke up the next day and said “I know the ring worked because I didn’t hear him snoring in my room and I can always hear him when they are here.”

We all joked around all day that it was the first night in Dick’s life that he didn’t snore. Dick is in his 70’s. The next night just to make sure that it was not a fluke he wore the ring again. He didn’t snore the second night either. My mom begged me to let them take the ring home. She said that she has spent a fortune on anti-snoring products over the years. She even had a dental mouth piece made for him and it didn't work. I told her to take the ring, I figured why not my husband wasn’t snoring anymore anyway.

Guess who started snoring again last night?

Mentally Handicap Mother Beaten to Death.

This next story is so unbelievable. The problem is, I was raised a mile from these type of people. I have seen the way that human animals live and this was not really a shocker to me.

One very short mile down the country road that I lived on was called Culbersonville. That was our own little name for it. People would just haul in trailers and live there with their kids. The trailers were never leveled or hooked up to ANY utilities. They just drove them in and dropped them. It was not unusual to drive by and see five or six kids running around neekid (misspelled on purpose). They were dirty, ignorant, and loved being the white trash they were. At night they would nail a piece of plywood over the door, during the day there was no door at all. The dogs ran wild.

When I saw the mug shots and read the story about the mentally handicap 29 year old mother that was tortured by the “family of six”, the first thing I thought of was Culbersonville. These people look like the type of people I remember living there. All the families and kids in Culbersonville were incest babies. They were all mentally handicap because of all the inner breeding.

This case is horrific; Dorothy Dixon was treated worse than any animal. She was used for target practice; burnt by various methods; beat her with baseball bats, and much more that we will probably know about. Dorothy was also six months pregnant and had a one year old son (who only weighted 15 pounds).

Michelle Riley (one of the six people arrested) befriended Dixon so that she could steal her Social Security check.

Michelle Riley, Judy Woods, Benny Wilson, two teenagers, and a 12 year old have been arrested and charged with a load of charges. Unfortunately the list appeared to be awful short.

Go read the horrible story for your self there is much more information that what I am sharing with you now. It is difficult to write about these things. Years ago when you saw people being abused you minded your own business and told yourself you couldn’t do anything about it.

Most of Culberstonville no longer exists but it breaks my heart that I did nothing to help those poor children who lived in those conditions. I was a dumb kid myself.

Happy Easter! We had visitors this weekend so I have not been on much. They are now gone so I have a lot to do. I don't blog about my mom much. It is not because I don't love her or have a lot to say, it is because I am so afraid that she would find my site and that my time with her would come to an end. Oh the things I have to say!

This story made me crying with laughter

A grandmother of twelve and a great grandmother of one, witnessed a robber running from a KFC. She chased the 22 year old down in her car and grabbed him off a fence he was trying to climb over. The robber had a gun but I think he was afraid to use it. Go see the story for yourself. it will definitely make you laugh.

For some reason it is not letting me link directly to the story. There is a video before this one about a 3 year old that was bitten by a rattlesnake at the beach. My prayers are with this family.

A Pair of Geniuses

Manuel Labaki and Sobh Mossad both of MA worked at a gas station and had this elaborate scheme. They disabled the PIN at the pumps so customers had to pay with cash. Then they pocketed the money. I am very confused as to what is elaborate about that. Did they think that no one would miss 18,000 gallons of gas.

I feel very bad for the gas station owner. They only make between 5 to 6 cents a gallon on the gas and to have someone steal that much will probaby put them out of business.

This pair of geniuses would never be able to pay restitution.

Anyone want to take up smoking with me?

This post is the reason that I believe in the biblical saying an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth. Let me start by saying that I hate smoking/smokers. I know some of my readers are. I am sorry but it is nasty. It makes you stink and have bad breath and ten thousand other reasons and those would not even include the health issues. That being said, I would start smoking in a second if someone told me that I could take part in the “eye for an eye” punishment of this next character.

David Privette has been charged with a host of charges that stem from the burning of his girlfriends 7-year-old-boy. He burned the boy’s genitals with cigarettes. Yes you hard that correctly. He repeatedly (several different occasions) burned this boy’s genitals to the point that he disfigured the boy.

Here is his mug shot. A really great looking guy isn't he. The boys mother has told DSS and the boy that Privette would NEVER hurt the boy. Yeah exactly what planet is she living on. This is one scary looking guy. I wonder if he is mentally handicap. GREAT that will be excuse number one.


The mother, Michelle Henry, is an upstanding citizen herself. He allowed this torture to happen. She has also been charged with reckless endangerment of a child and assault and battery on a child with injury. Those charges sound pretty lenient to me. I want to know why there was not a sex charge in the list of charges.

The school that the boy attended had called DSS several times when the boy reported abuse at home. Time and time again DSS fell down on the job and sent the boy home. I am sure that the beatings/burnings were quite horrific after a visit from DSS.

I think this case should have been reported directly to the police and to hell with DSS.

The boy told the nurse at his school that his mother's boyfriend had hit him with a belt, burned him with cigarettes and urinated on his head while he was taking a bath, according to a police report.

Now I always love to mention the scum bag lawyer that defends people like this. Thomas Pyne. I would like to see how Pyne and Privette like their genitals burned with a cigarette. An eye for an eye. Mr. Pyne said is client is "bewildered" by the charges and denies abusing the boy.

"He was flabbergasted. He maintains that if (the burns) are seven to 10 days old, he was not there. He has witnesses who will place him in Boston then," Pyne said.

I love the “I wasn’t even in the hood” excuse. “I was in Boston making a drug deal, honest”. Then there is the always reliable "I was abused when I was a boy" The only question in this case is which excuse will the use. They are all damn good.

I cannot wait until he makes it to prison and all the other inmates pee on his head (while he is down there) in the shower.

How Embarassing

Boy I feel like a real idiot. I just emailed WB and told her I was having a big hit day and make a comment on those posts so that maybe she would get some traffic from me. Traffic from me **said with a snicker**.

My big day is just a "regular" day for WB. OK I am going to crawl back in my hole with my tail between my legs.

Speed Bumps

Do they slow you down at all?

If I know that my car is going to clear the bump I will NOT slow down for a speed bump. The faster you go the less you will feel the bump.

I love these people who virtually come to a stop for a bump. They crawl up one side and down the other. The back end of their car looks like they drove over a log, bouncing all around.

My car barely moves as I fly over that thing. I know they are there for a reason. To slow little old ladies down.

I guess I am the reason that towns/cities feel the need to install these bumps. I would be sending the repair bill to that town. Of course you will never find these in New England. Can you image a plow truck hitting those?

STOP the MADNESS

I think the world needs to stop buying from China. This is getting a little old.

In South Korea a rat head was found in a popular snack food. Now I am sure that this type of thing could happen anywhere. But it didn't, it happened in China. I thought the Chinese were suppose to be so superior to us Americans.

I think it is time for the consumer to step up and take action. It is sometimes hard to look at each and every item but we need to stop buying China's junk.

In our business we do import from China but we hold our breath every time we do. You never know if the product is good or not. We have found some reputable suppliers there but they are few and far in between.

Finally someone with a brain

The Commission on Human Relations ruled that a sign at Geno's Steaks do not violate any ordinances.

Joe Vento you are my hero. Joe posted the signs in October of 2005 five. The sign read: This is AMERICA: "When ordering 'Please Speak English". I mean he did say please so I don't understand why it has taken three years to decide that he did nothing wrong. I am sure that the battle will not end here.

The Boyfriend in toilet case has been charged.

Kory McFaren 37, has been charged with mistreatment of a dependent adult. If you remember his girlfriend spent two years in the bathroom.

Pam Babcock spent at least the last month sitting on the toilet. This caused opened sores which in turn caused her to become stuck. Her skin had started to form around the toilet set.

They do no believe that she will ever walk again because she caused sever nerve damage to her legs.

Guys just some helpful advise. 1. If you girlfriend is such a nut that she wants to spend two years in the bathroom RUN. 2. The ying yang cannot be that good, she is sitting on the toilet seat. Now if you were sitting that would be a different story.

The district attorney said “This was a very unusual set of circumstances”, WOW and that folks is why he gets paid the big bucks. I am glad he told us that because us common folk that because we would have never know that this type of thing doesn’t happen everyday. I mean all us white trash LIVE in the bathroom.

Another quote that I felt was worthy of ridicule was: "She would have to be sleeping on the toilet," Whipple said. REALLY do you think? I am not sure I agree. If the skin is forming around the toilet …….speechless………..

Has anyone called The Guinness Book of World Records

The lady that sat on the toilet for two years had to have broken some sort of record. Even if she only stayed in the bathroom that long that would be one record. The second record would be the amount of time she actually sat on the throne. She could be famous. Well I think she has already had her 15 seconds of fame but.... Guinness is HUGE.

My Mom wanted to buy us a digital frame at Christmas. I declined because I didn’t want her to spend that much money on hubby and me. I ended up accepting her offer of buying CAL the guitar hero. That was our present. It was fine with me. The truth be told however, I think that digital frames are a great gift idea. Maybe this coming year when she offers again I will take her up on it this time.

I never thought about digital photo frame as a corporate gift but after hearing the suggestion I think that would be a very professional and “acceptable” gift for our customers. Finding an acceptable gift is very difficult. You cannot send anything to the larger companies that might have the appearance of a kickback. I could load it with information about my company and then they could replace it with whatever they wanted.

An Easter Present for CAL

CAL needs a new bike. His old bike has lasted him for many years but he has grown so much he looks like The Grape Ape when he rides it.




We went to look at bikes last night. He picked out a really cool red one. I am going to try to sell his old one on Craigslist. I don't like people coming to the house but we have had good luck with them so far.

Jesus and The Sedona Method

You may remember me blogging about the Sedona Method by Hale Dwoskin a few months ago. I was concerned about the spiritual side of this method.

I have had several people come to my blog using the keywords Jesus and The Sedona Method. It appears that I am not the only one who thinks the method used in conjunction with the idea that Jesus Christ is the way to true happiness can be a huge asset in their lives.

As I stated before I am a Christian that has her fair share of stress, negative thoughts, doubts, and lack of faith. That does not make me a bad Christian that makes me human. I am not better than non-Christians and my life is not easier because I am Christian. I will be the first to admit that I need help. There are times when I feel like Jesus is not doing what I need. Those are the times when I know it is not Jesus who is letting me down it is me letting Jesus down and I need to get back in touch with him.

Nixzmary Brown justice was somewhat served

It is cases like this that make me think the justice system is so beyond repair. Cesar Rodriguez tortured his 7-year-old stepdaughter to death. Jeffrey Schwartz is the scum bag who defended Rodriguez and he used every dirty tactic in the book. Jeffrey Schwartz was able to get him off on a manslaughter charge and the state Assistant District Attorney Alma Dwimoh said "I am grateful that at least they're holding him accountable with a manslaughter conviction,"

I am NOT grateful that it appears that the defense had a better lawyer than that poor little girl.

The defense lawyer made the victim out to be this hellion. I don’t understand why a lawyer is allowed to do such things. It doesn’t matter what this seven year old did, she did not deserve to be bound to a chair, starved and forced to urinate in a litter box.

I think this country needs to revert to the eye or an eye and tooth for a tooth. Mr. Rodriguez should spend his entire jail term tied to a chair without food and forced to use a little box for a toilet. Oh but wait THAT would be considered cruel and unusual punishment. We could solve that excuse however by making it usual punishment.

This defense attorney is just as guilty as Rodriguez in my eyes. He portrayed the victim as a violent and uncontrollable “little Houdini and stated that Rodriguez did what it took to protect the rest of the family.

In a videotaped statement played for the jury, Rodriguez said that on Nixzmary's last night, he punished her by sticking her head under running bath water "to make her think." Investigators suspect the girl's head was smashed against the faucet -- something her stepfather denied doing.

Schwartz blamed everyone: the little girl, her mother, Child Services, the school system who reported the case, the police for sloppy police work, the community who wanted vengeance from Day 1, everyone but himself and Rodriguez because both of them are totally blameless.

Schwartz contended that Rodriguez was a hard-working security guard and overwhelmed parent.

The article did not say but I think the mother should also be charged. Rodriguez claims that she was actually the person who beat this little girl. I don’t care they were both involved and did nothing to help Nixzmary and they should receive the same punishment

Just because

His great great grandfather was a slave, he is a black man, he has endured hardship, does not mean he is qualified to run this country.

Obama is claiming that the constitution is stained by the "sin of slavery". I AGREE 100% but don't think for one second that slavery is the only stain on the constitution.

Obama is stating that we need unity and I agree with this statement also but when you are constantly playing the race card how do you expect unity.

Whites in America are tired of paying the price for what our great great grandfather did. I am pretty sure that during slavery your average Joe didn't own a slave. I know that I am just poor white trash and that has been passed down from generation to generation. My family didn't own slaves. It was the rich white man that did and my family was most certainly not that!

Will it never end?

There is some idiot that is suing a Club in New York City because he was injured by a stripper during a lap dance. I know what you are thinking and I thought the same thing.

Apparently Stephen Chang was injured when the dancer swung around. She clipped him in the eye with her heel. Personally I think this was a punishment from God. God does tell us that if we sin with our arm cut it off, and if we sin with our eye poke it out. Hahahah. I am sorry if I find this funny but it makes me want to wet my pants.

No TV No Problem!

If you are a regular visitor to my blog you know that we are in week two of having no TV. Again I cannot tell you how much this family has got to know each other better during that time. My son is worried about getting his video games back but the TV has not been mentioned.

Now I see that CNN has picked up a story on my experiences. Hahaha. No not really the story is not about me but it was very interesting. My husband and I did this to strengthen our family. It was not something we did to improve our sex life (what is that?).

I agree with this story 100%. My family is living proof. We turned it off and left it off. I know we all look strangely upon people who say they have no TV but believe me when I say if you turned your TV off for a week, you family life will improve greatly. You might not even miss it after a few days. We don’t!!!

I am interested in any and all suggestions on how to increase traffic and make my blog more noticeable on the web. During my surfing I found infektia, she recently wrote a post "How to track your Blogger statistics with Google"

Of course I promptly installed the code on my blog and I will let you know in a couple weeks if it helped my blog get crawled. This of course will help my chances of showing up on search results. I know that I get a lot of traffic from google searches and I hope this will increase my hits per day and find me more loyal readers.

This site is a blogger just like you or I. She writes helpful blogging information along with her own personal struggles. I must confess that I enjoyed several of the articles. The one about the types of dogs and cats you should not buy was very funny. I love it when people become so angry because of something you have written on your own blog.

$70,000 a year is not enough

for a four year old. Oh My Goodness. That is not enough to pay tuition to day care, security, and first class airfare. I think these people need a reality check.

"He likes her to fly five times a year on holiday," Mills said of McCartney. "It's 17,000 (pounds) for two people return (round-trip) first class, so that's obviously not meant to happen for her anymore. It's very sad."

I almost shed a tear. Then I remembered that if I don't pay my car insurance bill today that it will be canceled.

Is Mills as stupid as she sounds. If her father wants her to fly up for the holiday then he will have to just pay extra for that. I used the currency converter and $17,000 pounds is equal to $34, 052.88 USD. What the heck kind of flight costs $17,000 per person. I doubt they have Southwest over there but I am sure there is something comparable.

As far as security goes, If she is not with her Mother no one would know her from any other four year old. It is the parents that draw all the attention, and they do so on purpose. They are attention whores. Then they want to complain that they get no privacy. Give them the privacy they claim to want and they do something to draw attention to themselves.

I hate famous people and I would not so much as cross the street to meet one. I am not star struck by ANYONE. Here in NH you get your fair share of famous political people. Nope not even slightly interested. I will leave that up to the people who are so unhappy with their lives that they have to become so interested in someone else's. Very sad.

Bill Clinton an asset?

People who believe this are only two letters off.

Caricaturist around the world are holding their breath.

It has been a couple years since caricaturist have been this involved in politics. They are chomping at the bit. They are demanding that Obama be elected or they are going on strike. They feel they are overwork and they need four years off. There has not been a Presidential candidate since John Kerry that has given them this type of hope.

They all backed Kerry and his stone face, and then were very disappointed. Now their hopes are running high again. What am I talking about? Have you ever seen a face that just naturally looks like a caricature like Obama's. They would get a "vacation". They would not have to exaggerate a single feature. They could just take a photo and their job is done.

I am confused

How can a person be treated unfairly when it is their own words that are being used against them. In the case with the racist Minister that is Obama's friend and spiritual leader, he said the words. It is not being taken out of context and it is not something that someone is claiming he said or claiming he thinks this way or that.

The rest of this post has been removed. I have had some very angry opinions on this site (that were not even related to my posting) and the comments took this post in a whole different direction than what was intended.

Life is good

We have not turned on a TV in this house since 10:00 pm Thursday night March 6th. I must confess that no one is this house misses it. We talked today about cancelling the cable. CAL started to get a little worried and I told my husband that baseball season is coming up and I am not ready for go that far yet.

We have done a self assessment during this past week. I personally think we are much happier without sitting in front of the TV for several hours a day.

CAL has missed his Wii but only when his friends are involved. Today was tuff. He had a friend call and ask to play when I told him that he could not play video games, and he had to make his friend aware of this, the friend didn't want to play.

CAL was upset and responded with he has to find new friends whose life does not revolve around computer/video games. I was so proud of him for this. He was very upset that his friend would not consider playing something else.

I am so sick and tired of this nonsense.

Once again a parent that is so consumed with themselves has lead to the death of a child. A father in Houston forgot to drop of his seven month old daughter at daycare and instead went to work and left the child in the car all day. The child died from the heat. Now the best part: They are unsure if any charges will be filed. It appears to be an accident. I don't know about you but I don't think this qualifies as an "accident".

If you load the kid in the car how can you forget they are there. At some point during the day it should pop into your head that you forgot something. That is neglect and he should be charged with her death.

I know that men are terrible with "feeling someones presence". My husband will bump into someone almost every time we leave the house. He will back into some little old lady trying to go around him in the store. He cannot feel that there is someone close to him. Is it just a man thing? I would like to think that I would know if there was someone in the backseat.

Someone made the comment on my site recently that we need a licence to drive a car, own a dog, but we are not ever tested to find out if we are a good parent. I think our schools need to start worrying about "life skills" and a lot less about other skills that you only need to graduate high school and then you never use them again in your life. We need our kids to be educated but, I don't know about you but, I have not used that course I took in 8th grade on Russian History EVER.

I think that a lot of what is being taught in high school should be saved for college and we need to get back to the basics in high school. As you can tell by my writings I should have concentrated more on the English language and less on Greek Mythology.

America: Love it or Leave it. (catchy isn't it)

I will be the first to admit that when it comes to foreign matters of any kind I am very ignorant. I don’t understand the problems of other nations. That being said I become very upset when you hear about people being killed for their religion, culture, political beliefs, sexual preferences, sex, and a ton of other reason.

I also believe that the United States has the responsibility (along with the rest of the world) to come to the aid of those being killed in the name of whatever asinine reason you want to insert here. I do not think the US should be alone in this crusade.

I have a HUGE problem with the Olympics being held in China this summer. I think that we as Americans can sometimes forget (overlook) atrocities in these “bigger” nations. China is infamous for treating people with total disregard. The Dalai Lama has recently called for an international probe into China’s treatment of Tibet. He is accusing them of “cultural genocide”. In other words China is killing people because of their nationality. How can a country that does this host the Olympics.

I know that the United States is far from perfect but….. When you see the things that happen in these other countries, I thank God that I was born American. I also have a suggestion to those that do not love this great country and are not thankful. Purchase a one way ticket to China, Iran, Iraq, and get the heck out.

That is a great idea for a non-profit company. We can buy one-way tickets for people who are anti-American / anti-government. If you don’t like our government try someone else’s.

Angelo Trujillo is a 20 year old punk that got beat up by an 83 year old woman. He originally asked the lady for money and when she told him she had just put her last twenty dollars in her gas tank, he grabbed her purse and tried to run away.

Angelo did expect the lady to be such a fighter. The purse was double wound around her arm and when he pulled the purse she went with it. Then she hit him with the gas pump nozzle.

I am having a hard time typing this because I am laughing so hard. This guy is going to be the laughing stock of the community. All his gangster friends will tease him to no end.

There is a video of the little lady. It is so funny and I love where she says something like "he looked like a young punk, skinny and not even well built. I could have taken him any day of the week" I about wet my pants.

We survived our week with NO TV, computer, and Wii

I am speechless when it comes to explaining the transformation that this family has experienced. We have decided to extend the "experiment". We have not set an end date as of yet. CAL will be allowed to use the computer for school work, as long as we all sit together. Today he is allowed use the computer for an hour because he has to research a country and do a "project".

We go from ridiculous to serious...... Will they receive the same punishment.

In Springfield MA, a substitute teacher asked to see a student’s ID, the student then punched the teacher in the face.

Steven Malloy 18 is the name of the charming young man. Now you will have the parents and friends of this student saying what a wonderful child he is and we “don’t know the whole "story” and defend his actions.

I mean after all, isn't is just cruel and unusual punishment to be asked for your ID? Clearly the teacher was just picking on him and singling him out. Why? Oh I am sure the parents will have an explanation.

To make matters worse the teacher is disabled. So “Mr. Charming” not only hits teachers, he hits disabled people as well. I hope that he is charged with assault on a disabled person.

Now the school, refusing to make discipline a part of their curriculum, states that they should get together and discuss how to better enforce the rule, because making a child present his ID when asked is just too much stress on the little tykes.

I don’t understand schools. They want to tell you what to feed your child but they refuse to set any sort of standards for reasonable discipline. Kids are allowed to act as violent as they want, but don’t you dare buy a bag of candy. I see this every day. The only kids that are held to any sort of standards are the “good” kids. Let a straight “A” student mess up and they face expulsion. Then you have these kids that get in trouble almost every day. When/if they have a few good days in row the school is bending over backward for them. Kids see this and when they are younger they don’t understand. The "trouble" kids end up getting the most privileges.

I know this is not really well written. I am a little distracted today. You will just have to live with it.

Come on Red Sox..... Didn't we go through this before.

The Red Sox have released catcher Doug Mirabelli. Mirabelli has been Wakefield's catcher for years. Basically he has been the ONLY one who can catch Wakefield. A few years ago they traded Mirabelli and then in a desperate move were able to get him back.

Mirabelli is invaluable. I think this is a HUGE mistake. Now the Sox will have to rely on Kevin Cash. I don't know. Huge move that could backfire AGAIN.

I would love a vacation to......... Washington D.C.

CAL is just heartbroken that we have not made the trip to Washington DC that we told him we would try to make in the near future. He has been hearing that for close to two years now. I feel bad but, our circumstances are not improving.

I love Washington DC, and I know that CAL is going to love it too. My husband and I visited the city several years ago. We tried to see all that we could see in the short time that we were there. That was almost impossible. We really were not prepared. I don’t like to make “plans” but in this case I wish we would have done some research. Had I known about Trusted Tours & Attractions things may have been very different. They would have helped so much with the “things to do” list, and we could have seen so much more.

The thing I remember most about Washington was not the Washington Monument, The Air and Space Museum, Cherry Blossoms, The Government Buildings, Lincoln Memorial, The San Diego zoo (I just wanted to make sure you were paying attention) or any of the other attractions, it was when my husband and I decided to go for a walk after dark. We are walking down the street and all of the sudden this HUGE RAT walked out of this abandon store walked right in front of us and crossed the street into another abandon store. The thing was the size of a raccoon. I know that is not a great memory but it is my memory.

I would love to take the Segway Day Tour of Washington DC that is listed on the Trusted Tours & Attractions web site. There are so many tours and attractions that it would take a month to see all that I wanted.

Just when you think you have heard everything.

There comes a story like this. A 35 year old woman sat on the toilet for so long her body was stuck to the seat. Her skin had started to grow around the seat. It appears that Pam Babcock has a phobia about leaving the bathroom. Her boyfriend is unsure but she may have spent about two years living in the bathroom.

Wow that must be one BAD case of diarrhea. The rescues workers said that they had to pry the toilet seat from the toilet and it was sent attached to her to the hospital.

There are so many questions about this entire situation. I don't even know where to begin.

McFarren (her boyfriend) said she moved around in the bathroom during that time, bathed and changed into the clothes he brought her. He brought food and water to her. They had conversations and had an otherwise normal relationship -- except it all happened in the bathroom.

I question this because exactly how does your skin grow around and attach to the seat if you are showering and moving around. The county attorney will determine whether charges should be filled against the boyfriend. That would be interesting. I would love to hear what they are going to charge him with.

I really cannot do this story justice. Go read it for yourself. Also I have a question for y’all. What was the longest you have ever spent on the throne? Is this something I am missing out on? Is the toilet the most comfortable spot in the house or what?

Horrible!!!!!

In Dallas Texas today a woman threw her two young children from a highway overpass onto traffic and then jumped herself. All three survived. I am very thankful that the children appear to be OK, they are in the hospital in stable condition.

Exactly how do you live a normal life knowing that your mother tried to kill you when you were eight.

Khandi Busby, 27, hopefully will face two charges of attempted capital murder and I hope they find a few other things they can add to that. If you want to jump go ahead. Personally I think that suicide should be legal. If you want to decrease the surplus population go ahead.

It seems that Busby and her sons were in a vehicle with her father, the boy's grandfather. When they stopped for gas, Busby took the boys and walked onto the overpass and threw them off before he could get to her.

Now we will have a defense lawyer saying that she had a troubled childhood. Great and when these boys grow up and do something they can say the same thing. WHERE DOES IT STOP.

You have to be kidding me.

A student at a New Haven School as been suspended from school for one day, barred from attending a HONORS dinner, and STRIPPED of his class VP title.

I don't know about you, but at this point, I am wondering what the child did? Did he punch a teacher or student, did he cheat on a test, was he disrespectful to another adult, did he bring drugs or a gun to school.......

No he bought a bag of candy from another student. Apparently this other child had a bag of Skittles and this "horrible" (said with as much sarcasm and I can muster) child said "hey I'll give you a buck for it".

Michael Sheridan, a student at Sheridan Middle School, was suspended from school for one day, barred from attending an honors student dinner and stripped of his title as class vice president.

Officials say he was punished because he bought a bag of Skittles from another student.

Then to make matters worse the school justifies this idiotic move with the following:

A school spokeswoman says the New Haven school system banned candy sales and fundraisers in 2003 as part of the districtwide school wellness policy.

Spokeswoman Catherine Sullivan-DeCarlo says there are no candy sales allowed in schools, period.

Catherine Sullivan-DeCarlo you should be ashamed of yourself. How ridiculous are you people going to become. My child's weight is none of your business. You just worry about teaching him the basics and I will take care of the rest. Who do these people think they are?

I don't know about you but I think that people who hyphenate their last name should not hold positions of authority. That is about as ridiculous as what they are doing.

I don't agree with suing often but I hope that Michael Sheridan's parents hire a lawyer and the school district and Ms. Sullivan-DeCarlo lose everything, including that stupid hyphen in her last name.

CNN has now picked up the story. This school district and Ms hyphen are very poor decision makers and deserve to lose their jobs over this stupid incident.
