She faces up to 20 years in prison. Now here is my question. How many of the priests have faced 20 years in prison for molesting/raping little boys? The Catholic church is so messed up I hope it never recovers. They have insisted on a harsher form of punishment for stealing money then they have for sexual molestation, and destroying the lives of many children.
These priests have been know to be guilty and most of them have not been charged or even removed from their positions. There has been cover up after cover up. BUT let a nun steal $1,500 and she is facing 20 years in prison.
If I were Catholic I would seriously considering changing my faith. TRY CHRISTIANITY YOU'LL LIKE IT.
Sister Barbara was an internationally known speaker. She was fired in 2006 as director of the archdiocese's family life office after an audit found irregularities which included spending $307,545 for her own use. FIRED! Yes Fired. Meanwhile they are transferring priest from parish to parish to have fresh victims every time.
What the Roman Catholic church is saying, is that money is more important then our children. Is that the message you want to give your children? Do you really want to teach your children that $309,000 is worth more than their childhood, than their lives?
