This guy might get a Darwin Award. He climbed up to rescue a friends pet bird. Hello do you see all those power lines.
I remember going on a road trip with my friends back in college. We pulled over to the side and decided to climb to the top of this huge rock to have our picture taken. When we got to the top I noticed this HUGE power line running along the top. I stumbled and almost reached out to grab them to catch myself. I know that God was watching over me during my college years because I did so many stupid things and never paid any "real price".

For some reason, power lines (particularly the large, high voltage, cross-country lines carried by steel towers) scare me. I keep having dreams of falling from the sky and landing in power lines (which is why I'll never skydive, nosiree, no thank you). Being too close to power lines, like standing right under them, make me uncomfortable. Either it's a childhood fear I've carried to adulthood, or I just have a healthy respect for electricity.
