CAL came home yesterday with the news that he is now a member of band (he tried calling everyone he knows last night but.....) He was very excited and he should be. He is the only one in his lesson group, that has made it that far, that quickly.
CAL has become very interested in his piano and trumpet recently. He does his nightly practice without the temper tantrums of past. I personally think Guitar Hero has something to do with it but.... he started to become more interested back around Thanksgiving when we threatened to end the piano. I also think he feels special because he is further along than his classmates with his lessons.
He has been asking me for several days to post a new video on YouTube. I will have to tape him playing both the trumpet and piano (separately of course) for your "enjoyment". I mean really.... I should not save all that joy for myself.
