OJ and Howard

OJ Simpson and Howard Stern are both going to walk away free and clear from two murders. There is not much that is going to convince me that Howard Stern did not kill both Nicole and Danny.

My Sunday

Woke at 10 a.m
Fell back to sleep around 12 noon
Woke at 3 p.m.
Went to bed at 9 p.m.

Slept the entire night without a problem.

Something tells me this new medication might have some side effects. I don't do well with medicine anyway. If I take something stronger than Tylenol I am usually in trouble.

Explain this to me.

The shooting that killed Bell stirred outrage around New York City and led to accusations of racism against the NYPD. Bell was black, as are two of his friends who were wounded in the shooting. Two of the officers are white, and three are black. (just in case you are playing along at home..... Correct me if I am wrong. Since three out of the five were indicted, that means that at least one of the officers is black) RACISM?

Al Sharpton should be very busy because the trial of David Addison is about to start. You remember him.... He is the guy who shot the police officer, Michael Briggs, in Manchester a while back. The same police office that saved his gang aZZ a couple years prior to that. Addison a career criminal had been shot in the neck (i think) and Briggs held his finger over the wound until help arrived. He should have let him bleed to death. He would be alive today if he had.

Damn Global Warming

Boston Endures Coldest March Day In 21 Years
(WBZ) BOSTON We all know it's cold out there. But did you know Boston is colder than Antarctica, Moscow and Reykjavik, Iceland today?

In fact, this is the coldest March day in 21 years.WBZ meteorologist Barry Burbank says the temperature here took a big plunge after midnight, when it was 23 degrees. By 8 a.m. it was down to a low of 7. The last time it was 7 degrees in March was March 8, 1986.Compare that to 45 degrees in Reykjavik, Iceland, 37 in Antarctica, and 34 in Moscow today.Burbank says the high won't get above 16 in the city Tuesday.

The wind chill makes it feel like it's -10 outside. Worcester's wind chill dropped to -15 and it was -25 in Pittsfield. But the folks on Mt. Washington have it the worst. The temperature there dropped to -37 degrees, with a wind chill of -90.Burbank says it will remain clear and frigid tonight with a high of only 6 degrees in Boston and -2 in Worcester. It will be much less harsh with much less wind Tuesday. The high should reach 23 degrees in Boston.

More arctic air will move in Thursday night and Friday morning, when the low could hit 2 degrees. The weekend should be much milder with a high of 45 expected on Saturday. For the record, Burbank says the coldest day of the season so far was back on January 26 when the low in Boston was 3.

I know you have all been dying to see the answer....

According to Wikipedia

Réunion, officially (but rarely used) La Réunion, is an island and overseas département of France, located in the Indian Ocean east of Madagascar, about 200 km southwest of Mauritius, the nearest island. Like the other overseas departments, Réunion is also one of the twenty-six regions of France (being an overseas region) and an integral part of the Republic with the same status as those situated on the European mainland. As part of France, Réunion is part of the European Union, and thus the currency used is the euro (in fact, due to varying time zones in the European Union, Réunion was the first region in the world to use the euro, and the first ever purchase using the euro occurred at 12.01 a.m., when regional council president Paul Vergès bought a bag of lychees at a Saint-Denis market).[1].

REUNION-Trivia

Where is REUNION the country located? Until today I had no idea that there was a country with that name.
