As for me and my house we will follow the Lord.

We “try” to be the best Christians that we can. We fail miserably, of course, but God is a very important part of our everyday life. This does not mean we are perfect or better than anyone in anyway. It simply means that we believe that Jesus is the way to Heaven. The only way for us to spend eternity with Him, is to believe in Him, and trust Him. Simple isn’t it?

The trusting in Him is in regards to “eternity”. God never ever told us that everything on Earth was going to be easy, fair, or even OK. As I have stated before, our business is struggling. I would love to believe that God will make everything OK but I am starting to question that. I do think that He is testing our faith right now.

I believe that God is “punishing” us, if you will, because of our past financial sins. We have made a truck load of money and we didn’t “take care” of God’s money like we should have. I also believe that if we get our act together, maybe just maybe, God will turn things around for us.

Sometimes it is difficult to determine just what God wants. What is biblically correct when it comes to finances? I don’t know but in doing research I ran across a web site called ChristianMoney.com. The founder of the site James L. Paris has some very interesting advice. The site is user friendly and very easy to navigate. We are trying our best to “get right” with God again and take care of our Christian Money, our future, and the future of our son.
