Around the bloggin world

You may have noticed that my blogroll has increased in the past few weeks. I have been reading these sites for sometime but didn't have them in my roll.

There is one new site Walking On, that has quickly become one of my personal favorites. If you visit the site be sure to have a box of tissues handy. Cynthia's way with words brings tears to my eyes each time.

The Life and Times of a Butterfly Wife always has good new from IRAQ. It is so hard to hear good news these days because the MSM doesn't want us to think we are doing good over there. I want to take a moment to thank all of the families that have given up their children/husbands/wives and loaned them to the American People for a time.

Reflections by Kris has something very funny you should all look at.

Pamibe has a very specialize request for you. I frankly do not know of anyone so maybe some of my readers might know. While you are there look around this site is another one of my personal favorites.

One for the Road has something that I want. SNOW. The last snowfall for us brought about 8 to 12 inches, but that was over a week ago. We have only received rain for a few days now and that poor snow is just about gone. ArGGG I hate rain. I LOVE snow.

Not Exactly Rocket Science has been reading my mind again. I am so tired of the "stories" (and that is all they are) at Christmas time about how poor sales are. Every year it is the same thing. They project this doom and gloom so that Americans will run out and try to help the economy -- then they will tell us how greedy we are because we spend so much at the holidays. We have this never ending assault. We don't spend and they tell us the world will end. We spend and then they blame us for the China incident because we are so materialistic.

OK kids now go and be merry. "Can you tell that I didn't have of my own material today?"
