Toothache

I have mentioned several times in the past that I need to visit the dentist, but it is just not in our budget right now. I have a couple of old fillings that need to be replaced. The last time I visited the dentist he wanted to do it then but I am a firm believer that if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It was not giving me any trouble so I decided to leave it alone. About a month ago one of the fillings became sensitive. Now the tooth is very sensitive to both cold and hot, and air

Last week I received a free sample of sensitive toothpaste. I immediately started using the paste to see if it would help with my problem. I brushed with Biotene toothpaste every morning and night. I am please to announce that a week later the problem is better. I have used Sensodyne toothpaste in the past but it just didn’t seem to be worth using. It didn’t make a difference and I did not like the taste. Biotene Sensitive Toothpaste has a very pleasant taste. I would describe it as a very clean, adult bubblegum flavor. It is not overpowering and you don’t feel like you are using your kid’s paste.

There are other benefits of using the toothpaste; dry mouth protection, prevents canker sores, prevents cavities and it fights bacteria, plaque, and gingivitis.
