Kids have off from school in NH today. Why? Well elections, of course. I had never heard of such a thing until moving here. They use the schools as their voting places. In NY you went to your town hall. I remember in Loon Lake it was this little one room building that was boarded up 364 days a year. On election day the boards came off and it was alive.
We had made plans to have a huge neighborhood football game but it is raining and is suppose to rain most of the day so that is out.
Hubby and I still have to work. What little there is to do. We still are trying to get our web site up and running so hopefully we will get a lot accomplished on that today.
Have a good day and remember to go vote.

In Michigan, elementary schools are used all the time for voting but they never close them. School goes on as usual and the kids eat in the classrooms instead of the gym/lunchroom (that is where the voting takes place)
That would be the reasonable way to go. The only area they use is 1/2 of the lunchroom.
