Animal control employees had told Henderson he owed $85 in impound and boarding fees to get back his dog, which was picked up as a stray. Champagne tried to stop Henderson from leaving by getting on the car hood but was forced to hold onto it when he drove off, police said.
I would have to seriously doubt this "officers" good judgement. For crying out loud. It was an $85 bill. Not worth losing your life over. In her defense an $85.00 bill is not worth dragging an Animal Control officer for 2 miles on the hood of your car either. I think this little stunt might cost him a little more than $85.00.
