Vick

I have tried to ignore all the news media regarding the Vick case, but a couple of things really bother me about this.

1. There have been sports figures arrested for rape, murder, DRUGS and other very serious crimes and they will probably serve less time in jail (if they serve at all) than Vick does. Do I feel sorry for him - hellllll no. I am just saying that for whatever reason we have become numb to crimes against humanity. We seem to be more worried about crimes against nature, animals, and don't forget the white collar crimes. You can kill someone but don't you mess with their money.
2. Vick didn't do this for money according to the MSM. He didn't bet and he didn't take any proceeds from the betting. "Vick did not gamble by placing side bets on any of the fights. Vick did not receive any of the proceeds of the purses that were won by Bad Newz Kennels," the summary said. Soooooo why was he involved. If you are going to do these horrible things you should at least be able to say you made some serious money doing it. Is he really "that sick". Money would explain things. Now we just have to conclude that he is just one very disturbed individual. Should we look into his mental state? I hope not, but isn't that how serial killers get their start. They start with killing squirrels, birds, cats, and dogs, then they move up.
3. Where the heck am I going with this rambling. I don't know...... I rarely do. Vick should be in jail yes and he deserves every second he gets and then some. But...... We need to be in this much of an uproar over Barry Bonds, Ray Lewis, and half of basketball.
