Writersblock. A couple of days ago she did a post on couponchief.com. I checked it out and thought "I shop at a lot of those stores but usually not online." But I saved the page on my favorites and decided to keep it in the back of my mind.
My son has recently decided that he likes clothes. This has been a huge struggle in our family because when he was preschool age we made him wear button-up-the-front dress shirts and ties to school. He rarely wore jeans. It was mostly dress pants. When he became school age, 1st and 2nd grade, he revolted and we had these huge arguments in the morning and we gave up the fight. We started to allow him to wear t-shirts, shorts, jeans, and sports shirts. The only restriction was he was not allowed to wear those shirts with crazy sayings. Anyway I digress....
On a recent trip to Old Navy, CAL picked out some really cool clothes. We spent way to much money but I was thrilled at his choices. There were several things that he wanted but frankly we were on a budget. I told CAL that he would have to wait on the other items until they went on sale. Friday we stopped at OLD NAVY and they no longer had his size and the pants were still not on sale. Today I decided that I would look at the OLD NAVY website and see if they still had the pants. At this point I would have paid the $22.50 regular price. Now I am a miser and rarely do I spend full price for anything. To my surprise they had the pants and ON SALE $15.00. What a bargain and with the coupon from CouponChief.com I got $10.00 of my purchase. I bought 4 pairs of pants $15.00 each and 2 pairs of sweatpants for a total of $80.00. What a bargain. I wish the coupon would not required such a large purchase, $75.00. But he really needed sweats and I have been putting off purchasing them for a long time.
