Blockbuster

For years we were members of Netflix. I loved the service. A couple months ago we decided that we would cancel the service for several reasons. One of the main reasons was the fact that I don't want to decide on Monday what I want to watch on Friday. Last month I decided to give blockbuster a try. The main draw was the fact that you could return to the store. I thought this could cut down on "mail-time". Another big draw was they have Wii game rentals. Once a month you get a coupon for a free game rental. This may not seem like a lot but.... it was enough. Getting my husband to agree was another issue. He basically hates to watch movies.
Last month we made the plunge. I cannot believe the service they offer. You place your movies in your queue just like Netflix. The major advantages are the fact that you can return your online movies at the store and then take movies from the store, free. The movies that you get from the store have to be returned according to the stores rental period. On Monday I returned 3 online movies to the store and then I rented (free) 3 movies from the store and they don't have to be returned until Friday. Now for a big advantage, three movies from my online queue shipped today and I should get them by Wednesday. I will never be without a movie.
My son has rented his Wii games and I have constant movies. If something comes from my queue and I am not in the mood I just run to the store and get what I want.
We have not had a lot of excess money to spend on entertainment lately so this really helps.
